site injections?

what is the deal with site injections? i have read about shots in forearms, biceps and calves and wonder why not stick to the glute? everything else sounds like it would be too painful. maybe i am just a puss. who knows. any real benefit from these? thanks for shedding any light you can on this for me.

no benefit other then moving the site around to avoid scar tissue from forming, plus for peeps doing everyday injects hitting the same spot can be unpleasant after a few weeks.

I use my calves as an injection site and there is no more pain there than anywhere else. I also agree with cake in that there is no other benefit other than just moving the injection sites around to avoid scar tissue build up.

I agree. It is like others have said "if site inj realy worked well, most all of us would have huge glutes and quads

You can improve weak parts!!!

Site injections are I.M.O. a waste of time,di you shots,eat like hell,prioritze our weak bodyparts and they will get better,my delts were bad and for 2 years i started my delt workout with reardelts and side laterals.And now they are a strong bodypart.

I found no benifet to site injections.

I think in smaller muscle groups you can build up scar tissue over time possibly giving the illusion of more size. This has happened to a degree in my delts I can assure you. But enhanced local growth? No, I don't buy it.
