Guys! I slipped big time on my contest prep diet today 8 days out. I am completely shredded though with striations everywhere; never been this lean before. Its like my body is givning up of starvation. I am so hungry all the time I literally can threw up.
Current weight is 205 lbs.

Today in addition to my daily intake I’ve had lots of bread, chips and ice cream. How bad is this and did this binge hurt me big time?

I do look much fuller now with veins poppin everywhere.. but don’t wanna but on fat this close to show.

You found your own answer. Time for you to do the old high school cheerleader trick.

Wtf is up with this forum. Everyones so rude lol. We’re all humans and not robots. Last time I asked for advice here since the toxicity is so high.
Instead of putting people up you put them down. Good job!

Do extra cardio tomorrow and train in a glycogen depletion type workout/hard. Possibly utilize a herbal diuretic or hit the sauna as well.

keep carbs low for a few days

this may actually help you in the long run so keep your head up and get back to it
How are you going to recommend all this with zero idea of where he actually is diet, training, body comp wise? This has just as good of odds of helping as it does completely fucking shit up 8 days out.

@gustav957 the reality is your body didn’t give up on anything. Your mind did. If you don’t have a coach and want more than a “panic and completely change everything you’re doing” post photos and your current diet. Completely depleting and trying to dry out a full week away from the stage is a coin flip. You also never answered if you had a coach.

The reason people are giving you a hard time is they should. You're 8 days out and completely went off track from your prep because you were weak minded. If you don't want it to happen again, then don't expect a pat on the back and to be told it's alright. Instead expect to get kicked in the ass and told you're an idiot. Then afterwards if it leaves a bad taste in your mouth, actually do something in real life to prove people wrong.

Have you recently checked your estrodial levels? Its a forum of dudes and massive amounts of testosterone. Locker room talk, etc You asked a question you already know the answer to.

Get back on track or give up being in the contest and prepare for your next opportunity

I agree , but I was only trying to help brother. He’s 8 days out and I assume the foods he ate may have caused some inflammation and water which can sometimes last. 2 days lowering carbs, a little extra cardio and some sauna or a herbal diuretic would help him to get back to baseline as fast as possible
To get back on track as fast as possible. I have competed in 1 show and it was men’s physique. So, no , I’m not on your level and take you as a high level competitor and won’t argue . My intentions were only
To help . my apologies
