Simple fat and weight loss guide

I hear their accurate I just us the in body at the gym I read its accurate too. really all you need to know is if your gettin fatter, or leaner, exact bf doesn't matter its how you look. I prefer to stay lean so if I get on that thing and it is up 2% I know I gained fat, diet back down, fuck bulking.

I think the key is diet down to as lean as you want to be, use reverse math, figure your new maintenance and just stay lean. maybe push but if you get some mush, drop those calories back down for a week and your right back where your at. the problem guys have is they never get lean to begin with, or they bulk up and get fat then when they diet down they realize they don't have that much muscle and freak out or they think the scale means a thing, so then they puff back up.

but if you can get down to 8 and your eating above 2k a day, your in a good spot, you can probably maintain at 2.5-3k then. do a little internettinet fasting to control hunger, coffee in the day, eat bulky food, add low calorie sauces, mushrooms, sauerkraut, strawberries, egg white wraps from Aldi,,,,especially mushrooms they hardly have any calorie and fill you up

my favorite meal 10oz 96% lean ground beef 25 pickles 4 oz mushrooms, thats 500-600 calories and a huge amount of food. garlic, salt, pepper, you actually got to sit there and eat it. its not some meal where you eat it in 2 minutes and your still starving. throw in some spring pix or veggies with low calorie sauce you wont want to eat for a few hours.

I have done alot of lemon pepper on chicken breast and rice too.

I'm getting a dexa scan in 2 days to re-evaluate.
 
if you can cook and make mushrooms and pickle slices taste good (omelette, with steak, with garlic) they add a ton of volume to any meal.

I can make 3,000 calories feel like I ate 4000, thats the KEY imo, because I love to eat lol
 
I'd agree. I do believe some people respond better to different caloric rates based on their macronutrient profiles. Some may actually be better suited for higher carb/lower fat vs the opposite. @Deezznutzz Makes a good point, as well. If hormones are not optimized, calories won't be either. Think insulin sensitivity. A better insulin sensitivity will equate to more carbohydrates being used as muscle glycogen, fuel, etc opposed to fat storage. Same with other metabolic issues such as thyroid, hypogonadism, etc.

I am different toward mushrooms. the only mushroom I like(That I know of) are japanese wood ear mushrooms. I keep trying mushrooms to see if it changes, and tried of all types. No bueno.


I love pickles though.


I know its not a popular practice. I do not track calories. this is a hobby and I enjoy normal meals with my wife.

the thing is, my progress hasn't hit a stand still. when it hits a stand still and I need that extra boost, then maybe I will have to make that call.

But here is an example of some things that we do. It has always been this way.
90/10 Ground beef rinsed
or 96/4 ground beef if available.

salmon with no butter. just lemon pepper.

high protein intake dinner. maybe 40g of carb max. Primarily steak. I might have 2oz of wine(if even)

If I want something sweet I may have some fruit or if I want chocolate may snack on some baking chocolate chips.

The thing is, what I am doing whether on a blast or a cruise(So far) hasnt stopped me from reaching my goals and what I feel is sustainable for the rest of my life.

But obesity is not just a north anerican thing anymore, its global now. Interestingly, if you overlay a map of how developed countries in the world are overtop of a map of country to country obesity rates you will notice the more developed the country the more prevelant obesity is, with one huge exception: Japan.

Japan is one of the most developed countries on earth yet has a substantially lower rate of overweight people. I dont know why?

Ive never lived in Japan but somehow they have bucked the trend.
Maybe overlay a third map of how frequent the japanise person eats non traditional food. What we consider diet (weightloss food) they consider everyday food. Liked your spin on it. Good thread that hasnt been ruined by sex talk.

Because "fittest" in modern society doesn't refer to physically fit, low fat, high muscles, high speed, high agility, high body control skills etc.

That "fitness" was in the old days used to provide, for the woman and children. Bring food home.

Today, big muscles doesn't signal an increased ability to provide mortgage, car, school fees, food on the table, clothes, holidays, entertainment that a family usually needs. You could even argue that statistically, people who spend very high proportion of time on fitness (training, eating, preparing food, sleeping) on average have lower income than those who spend that time on working more or having a second job.

I know plenty of fat people who work their butts off in office jobs, with good income, and are not limiting their working hours because they have to hit the gym at certain time or go have their 6th healthy meal of the day. And spend several evenings a week to meet customers and business associates, which usually includes eating and drinking.

Yeah I agree, times have changed a lot and everyone now just focused on the social status like having good job, cool expensive car and premium house/apartment in a good location.

But good looking girls still value fit guys, they really have that desire to fuck good looking males.

Even if some slob is driving Mercedes G class or Bentley, being fit and tall grabs more attention and with enough effort you can pull her from some rich moron. Or at least fuck her behind his back lol...

So it's double edged sword for rich slobs, they have hot gfs but they fuck worthy guys behind their back.
