Like I said for me, the girl at the courtesy counter could give a shit who or where I send money to. I have only had one transaction flagged so far, that was to China with money gram. Guy I have been using in Turkey with WU I have had no problems with. I always figure if they asked me anything about who im sending money to, I would just say it’s for an old college buddy of mine lol, but they never ask me anything.

i don't believe they're allowed to question your transaction. Luckily, all of the MG/WU outlets in town here are inside large chain stores. The cashier doesn't give a single fuck as to who or where i send cash.

i did MG a bunch of times, no questions asked. Then i got this one young guy who asked me if i was a US citizen when i was sending money to Israel. Which is weird, 'cause he had my license in his hand... Anyway, i said yes, transaction went through and it all went fine. Found that kinda odd though.

A General question for those that use cash app. So once you buy bitcoin over there. You are able to send it to a different wallet?
Las time i check like a few months ago you were able only to buy and sell. But not transfer

I heard there is a crypto task force in San Diego, but I've never heard more about it. As long as you follow the right procedures there's no way a normal Joe could follow the digital footprint to the point of tracking down a person. I'm sure there are guys that can, and that's why there are the necessary steps taken to prevent this.

ALWAYS send BTC from your purchasing app to an intermediary wallet.
Preferably a cold storage wallet that does not require and information whatsoever. Electrum, Wasabi, etc. Download it via Tor or VPN. If you are really paranoid you can kill the footprint by converting the currency. BTC > LTC > BTC for example.
There are so many ways to protect yourself. But as the average consumer there is very little risk in this chain. BTC app > intermediary wallet > vendor. A vendor should have several layers of security on his ass. that being said working down the ladder isn't common practice in a bad situation.

So what protections does a source use to go from BTC to cash?
