I knew they were going to redeem the Steve character before it happened, they made it obvious by putting him through so much.

Good idea. They got the blood idea from the shark. Maybe it's just a combo of nature's predators.
It did eat up that deer when Nancy crossed,over the one time.

Here's another idea that may link El and the Demagorgon in a way.
At the end of Episode 5, Nancy crosses over to the Upside Down after the monster snatches up a dying deer and devours it. Meanwhile, El and the gang get in an argument because El was using her powers to throw the magnetic pull of the compasses.
The episode ends with Jonathan franticly searching for Nancy, and El separated from the group.
At the beginning of Episode 6, El goes into a grocery store and steals a bunch of Eggs waffles. Meanwhile Jonathan is still searching for Nancy in the woods.
Monster eats the deer. El eats the waffles.
If an 11 year old girl got into a fight with her friends, I'm not sure food would be the first thing in her mind. Maybe the Demagorgon and El are somehow connected, and it's no coincidence that they both experienced ravenous hunger at the same time.

I read a q&a with the shows creators and they hinted at the reveal of other realities besides the upside down world in the second season. That would help explain the demagorgan being able to exist. If he could enter this demension, then theoretically he should have been able to cross into the others. Oh yeah, and I remember something about him being referred to as just one of his species...
And my guess is that eleven's hunger is more so linked to her energy output while using her powers. After working out all I want to do is stuff my face and rack out, and it could very well be the same with her trying to correct her depleted energy.

What's messed up is 6 people were abducted all together, 5 of them were after will but only will got saved. What kinda shit is that.
Started watching this last night w the wife. Got through the first 4 episodes and didn't want to stop watching, but the alarm clock rings super early lol. Good show!
