I thank the lord for not hearing another nickel back song in the past few years. However, Shinedown sounds like the new nickleback these day’s. Almost every thing is over produced garbage. Kinda like we are currently back in the 80s. But on a good note “grunge” was after the 80s so time will tell.

We gotta understand , people change , influences change , I mean listen to each album they all change and are great in their own way, when I think back to my life the bands i worshipped changed, as a young adolescent I remember disturbed , system, and tool wasn’t for me at first ,until I got older and looking for something deep, but one band who always has my respect is the master of puppets and justice for all album, legends at the guitar and down strokes .but now I find myself listening to a lot of progressive stuff like animals as leaders , mastodon, polyphia has caught my ear , it’s like modern day Steve vai stuff , but yes back to subject Maynards pushing 60, it’s not 1998 anymore . Still respect the band , they still bring the fire , Danny and Justin fo sho
Yes Fear Incoculum sucked. I’ve been a tool fan since the launch of stinkfist on vinyl... and ended at Lateralus. Have seen them and met them on multiple occasions. Played in a tribute band yada yada.. Maynard is a little brat nowadays. His band mates don’t even enjoy being around him. His fan base is way too “culty” for me. Queue in the angry herd for sharing my opinion LOL. I won’t argue with you just sharing I think he sucks and the lyrics he wrote for that album made me laugh in comparison to the older shit.
Puscifer, sucks balls too. All of it.
The new slipknot album though. Now that was worth waiting for

we’re on an illegal forum... do you honestly think I’d do that? Let alone the fact I haven’t played music in over 10 years. I’ll give you a hint though - I was heavily involved in tooltabs.net 15+ years ago and played a Wal.

Nice cover. I use to love listening to meytall cover DC. She’s spot on playing different time sigs, note for note down to drum tuning.

I’m familiar with her, only thing I have against her , she’s plays to soft it seems , isn’t cranking up , Danny hits hard , but she’s fire though

Undertow is the best album for my money. It took seeing a healthy portion of Innoculum performed live and nearly a year of listening to warm up to it. I'm old and like old stuff lol.
Am I a pussy for preferring A Perfect Circle?

She’s nice to watch behind the kit . But Danny is a beast and yes he hits hard . As a drummer I think this is one of the hardest to play. Excellent song

Is that the Rosetta stoned or Jambi? Man I’ve watched that Rosetta stoned video 1000 times , that snare roll halfway through , and his signature triplets on the ride . I’ve been playing with his sig sticks past few years , they are massive when you try and go back to a normal size
Rosetta stoned. He drops a stick around 6:10 and barely misses a beat. Then that awesome polyrhythm at 6:30. Such skills .

Most of my favorite songs are on this album.
It’s a great album. That and Lateralus are my favorites.
