Hit those calfs twice a week for 20-30 reps at nine sets every time you hit them and they will grow. Last time I measured mine they were 17 inches without a pump. I train them like abs always hit twice a week but you could even get away with hitting them three times per week.

Thanks for the tip bro. I have a seated calf press this will work great for that.
 
My calves are small, but my quads and hams are developing pretty well. My squat to date best is only 405...so i obviously need work there. But i train legs, rigorously. My whole body is a weak area honestly...the only thing i am really proud of is my bench press capability. Hence the reason i am here. To learn and grow.

Don't sell yourself shorts. You've got nice upper back and shoulder development. Definitely not as tiny as CDNgay :D

Calves are unfortunately mostly down to genetics, and something even some pros struggle with.

Thanks for the kind words, but i wont be happy until I hit my goals for strength and size as well. I do look a shit ton better than i did a year ago. Definately a lot stronger. Time and knowledge...i just wish gear worked for me like it does for some members here. I would kill to add 30 pounds to my frame.

As long as we are all progressing forward and being safe about it, thats what counts right? Smart diet and good training...a little or a lot of gear...and trying our best to ignore the fact that @CdnGuy is too scared to submit a photo.

Great attitude mate. Gear works for everyone, but once you focus on your diet rather than the hormones, the effects become really pronounced. 30#s is a lot of muscle to gain though, unless you go with slin and gh. Like you said - steady and safe wins.

And on that note - show us your calves @CdnGuy :)

Fucking solid bro.

Im going to try 9 sets of 30 reps 2x a week and see how that fares. I know my diet needs work...i may hire a fucking coach...time will tell. Had plenty of suggestions from here but it seems to all go to my gut rather than anywhere else.

Haha then I'm doomed! I'M super lanky arms down to my knees and all legs...Super slim bone structure on top of that.. Sort of like a ball player... At this point I'd just be stoked to get like a Dwight Howard or LeBron James at their most jacked! Lol Genetics are a bitch dudes!

You are probably most definitely not dude! I however am probably amongst the smallest on a forum like this! Super long and lanky but I'm working on it..
 
Working on it. Speaking of, time to gym before work. Wont be back till my shoulders are in fire and im begging for the sweet release of death.

Smash it.... I've been working shoulder every other day. Be it compounds or isolation for 20 rep sets.... Been loving my workouts lately. I do whatever I want whenever I want and as long as I eat/hydrate and keep the pace. I'm good
