Steroid / COVID

"The observed role of androgens in transcription of transmembrane protease serine-2, which facilitates COVID-19 anchoring to angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 cell surface receptors, seems to suggest that higher testosterone levels might be detrimental for outcomes."
I saw that too a while back and it has caused me to be extra cautious (although I already was extra cautious anyway) as being on TRT has me at "high testosterone levels" all the time.

Best of luck to you OP.

I did the rapid test and the 48 hour test both were nasal . The rapid one is not very accurate I was warned by the doctor so I did both . The rapid said negative and then the 48 hr one was positive . Rite now I have cold chills and nausea , both come and go in quick increments, a headache for about 3 days now , stuffy nose , I cannot taste or smell anything and I mean anything, I took a tspoon of Siracha and it mine as well been water because I didn’t taste a thing. My main thing is I’m very fatigued and feel very week and tired . I new something was up when I drank my preworkout and didn’t feel anything from it .
Given the relationship between covid-19 and testosterone, this may be a good instance for disclosing your current AAS use to the health professionals treating you.

Then the fact that you abuse anabolic steroids is going to on your EMR (electronic medical record) for the rest of your life. Every time you walk into a doctors office, emergency, urgent care etc every nurse , staff or doctor will know. Health insurance company will see it too. Just food for thought to think about!

Sure. Health is kinda important too. It is unfortunate that so many people will potentially compromise their health and the most approprate treatment as a result. Still, I understand the dilemma.

There are private labs that you can pay out of pocket . Set it up online then go in person. Ive never done it but seen it talked about a lot.

I know. There are all sorts of ways to self-test, self-diagnose, and self-treat. But as a healthcare or harm reduction policy/program for the masses, this approach is an abject failure

Dunno, but I d be particularly careful to use gear that destroys cardio atm . One of the top powerlifters in Spain ended up in ICU( he s out now, thankfully, and back at the gym). U can check him out, Carlos_onebpdivision
Know a whole bunch of people who had covid, it seems a bit tougher on the bigger dudes, yet for some reason some slimmer and relatively younger dudes get hit pretty hard, although for most until their 50s at least ( dunno directly older ppl who got sick), covid is fairly easy to go through.
