I genuinely want to speak to Brewdog more as he may have professional experience playing for the other "team" so to say. Hope he comes back without that chip on his shoulder.
I'm not on the other team. Anyone that works for various law firms or the court system would have heard of TECS.

So you are insulting members based on reading the EXACT SAME DOCUMENT?

Im still not sure where @Ripped was incorrect in that it pertains to persons only. Could you please cite for me where ripped was incorrect?

And those are some pretty bold generalizations... I won't even begin to break down how that is factually incorrect.

Yes, these records apply to persons and things. What information you suppose the government might keep on a person suspected for a violation? Maybe his mailing address to start?

What else do you want me to tell you? You have the government's document available in front of you. If you want to disparage me before even reading the thing available right in front of you, that's certainly for you to decide. It doesn't bolster your argument, however.

DHS/CBP-013 Seized Assets and Case Tracking System: This system collects and maintains seizure data and information about current, former, and suspected violators of customs, immigration, agriculture, or other laws and regulations enforced and administered by DHS/CBP.

This network isn't a secret. The DHS put that document online for the public. Why is it odd that I know what it is? Snowden didn't have to run away with this and give it to the NY Times. It's right there for you to read.

this seems to answer our question. TECS is a data base that compiles many tracking and data systems. SEACATS is what it seems tracks seizures like we are talking about.

this document on page 8 also talks about what information is collected, bbut again this all seems to root from inspection of individuals coming into and out of the united states.

Seized Asset and Case Tracking System (SEACATS)

SEACATS is the system of record for the Treasury program. It is operated by CBP and tracks information on assets through the entire life cycle from seizure to disposition for assets seized under the Treasury program. In addition to tracking seized and forfeited assets, SEACATS supports CBP in issuing penalties assessed against a person or business violating laws enforced by CBP, and in issuing claims for liquidated damages.

this is a link the the pdf on SEACATS from homeland security. this is where the distinction is that we were reffering to. on the last paragraph on page 1 it states the the tracking process does not start until an arrest or legal charges. the point we were trying to make earlier is that but just receiving a letter we can not be charged because we did not accept the items. like how someone was being sarcastic but saying you could set your enemies up if that was the case. from that i think we can make the conclusion that most likely we are not being tracked by the government for personal seizures of our sort.

i guess we'll never really know and theres so much damn info but thats my opinion from the various documents i read today. we're all on the same side trying to get a better understanding, so lets keep it civil and share knowledge and opinions.

The link you posted spells out exactly my point.
The process begins when an enforcement action results in an arrest, or when property is seized by CBP or ICE, and includes supporting information, such as: the violation, property description, quantities, and violator. Once an arrest or seizure case is initiated, the initiating officer must submit the incident report in SEACATS to his or her supervisor within 24 hours of the arrest or seizure. The incident report may include supporting information about the violation, the property description, quantities of items seized, and information related to the violator.

I've abbreviated these next two lists:
Individuals whose information may be retained in this system include:
- Individuals believed to be involved in possible violation of customs, immigration, agriculture, or other laws administered or enforced by CBP.
- Individuals believed to be involved in smuggling merchandise or contraband, including narcotics and other illegal drugs, into the Unites States.
- Owners, claimants, and other interested parties to seized property.
- Individuals to whom prohibited merchandise is addressed.

Specific data elements retained in this system may include:
- Name (Last name, first name, and middle name or initial)
- Social Security number
- Physical description of individual
- Date of birth
- Business, home, and work addresses
- Telephone number
- Citizenship (country of document issuance)
- Gender
- Criminal history
- Occupation
- Driver’s License Information
- U.S. address while in the United States (number and street, city, state, zip code)
- Sender of the seized or detained goods
- Intended recipient of the seized or detained goods

good catch on that, i read right past it. i took it more as items seized on the person at time of crossing into the united states. could be both idk. good info for everyone to read though and be more informed on their choices. wish we could get a black/white answer from someone who works with CBP about situations like ours. i understand what the documents say, but i want to know what they actually do for minor offenses like ours. i actually have a relative in CBP but idk how i could ask without putting myself on blast lol

^^I wonder how you ease into that sort of conversation gracefully.

"So, how's that SEACATS these days? Tracking a lot of seizures from overseas lately? That must be hard work tracking all those packages through TECS. How exactly do you guys track your evidence anyhow?"

If you wanna ask a government person, I'm sure there's an ICE lurking here somewhere. I don't think you'll get an answer, though.

Why don't you tell us.... Ohh wait....
If anyone here is ice my guess it would be you.. You seem to be using a scare tactic they like to use when they can't do anything...

Scare tactic? I suggested that a person change his address if he's had something seized as not to up the risk of having his stuff seized again. I've not mentioned one thing about anyone getting into any trouble.

I'm at a loss as to how that makes me suspicious.

Well, I'm off this topic. I feel like I have a decent rapport with your people, so I'll stop discussing it if it's somehow making you ill.

Well you pretty much just pointed yourself out..

So what "law firm"or court system do you work for?

Update/Good news......... Pack arrived, basically the post office was jerking me around with no concrete answer. None the less everything arrived, good packaging, products look legit (boxing of the oils/oils themselves) and received my bonus goody for the delays that were mentioned previously roughly 2 months ago.... @Darius PharmacomStore Thank You!

Sir, you mentioned this story on multiple threads. You also stated using us close to 10 times in the past successfully, and now after a seizure, we are your worst nightmare.

Also, this was a PRIZE of the football contest, we always ship SAMPLE/PROMOS strictly from our factory - HK.

How about a FULL REFUND in cash + 100$ Bonus for this terrible inconvenience of allowing the pack to be seized by your customs and you go find another lab to use. Deal?

Send me your order no through PM and we will solve it quickly.

THank you!

Darius, I will admit I should have done more research before accepting the promo. I have always feared shipments coming out of Asia and for that reason avoid them at all cost.
That being said, you have been great to deal with and Vlad has been awesome as well. My only reason for posting what I did was to get feedback from others and see if the situation was normal or not. I will go back and re-read my posts and see if I said anything that I didn't mean and edit if needed.
I felt as though I was mislead. I ordered through you, same as usual and instead of coming from EU it came from Hong Kong. I had asked about this as soon as I got tracking info because I felt as though something was wrong. After getting my package seized I flipped out. I should have waited a while to calm down before posting but I was worried about the possible repercussions so I got on here to see what other people's experiences were.
Getting a seizure letter in the mail is the last thing I think any of us want. It costs you money and us potentially a lot more.
It looks like Vladimir has resolved the situation with me already and he was very professional and is shipping out of EU.
Again I apologize for any inconvenience my posts may have caused you and just to be clear DARIUS AND VLADIMIR ARE STAND-UP GUYS.
Thanks
