You didn't order goods that traveled from another country into the US and was then seized by CBP? Then don't worry about it.
But if you did, then your information is likely in TECS.

Another issue with this is that even IF they do log you, it essentially means NOTHING!
If it did mean something, then I could just mail poor stealth to all my enemies to get them all... and this would never be allowed to happen.

what im saying is i dont think system is for goods imported per say, seems like it is more aimed to individuals entering the united stated and the good they bring with them. upon reading the actual document on TECS its kinda vague it just says info sharing among agencies and any laws broken that CBP finds. read it for yourself and maybe you can gather some more info. From what i read its aimed more at individuals. at the end of the day if they seize a package, that cant legally prove you even ordered it, unless you accept it so i dont think theyre so concerned with us little guys. and yes i had a package seized this week.

Furthermore, it's a bit difficult to take someone seriously when he doesn't have the education to distinguish between "your" and "you're."
ICE and CBP use TECS as their case management system. Everything those agencies do goes into TECS. The system has been around since the 70's and contains hundreds of millions of records. Even Pablo Escobar and every one he ever knew are in that system. TECS formerly stood for the "Treasury Enforcement Communications System" but now that customs no longer falls under Treasury, they just call it TECS.
You guys think that CBP finds contraband in the mail and they merely chuck it in the bin for destruction without logging anything? LOL. Please share more of your wisdom with all of us.
If the dope goes in the trash and there's no record, then how does the appeal process work for you to make a claim to recover your goods? Read your seizure notice. You know, the seizure notice with YOUR ADDRESS ON IT that THEY MAILED TO YOUR HOUSE. You'll see a part that informs you how to recover your package. That means they keep your mail for 90 days before destroying it. That means the record of the seizure stays in a case management system. Who knew the US government knew how to use computers?
And if you'll review the thread, I never said ICE was going to waste time on a controlled delivery for a bit of dianabol. I just told the guy his address is likely flagged now and to try a different one if he didn't want to risk losing his goods every time. You guys comment in these threads that you're baffled as to why there's been an increase in seizures lately, yet you won't accept the obvious answer. Technology is a boon to Big Brother.
So, in conclusion, you guys apparently know a lot more about the process, and you can very well do whatever the fuck you wish without my help. Use the same address. I don't give a shit. It ain't my stuff.

How can I leverage this TECS to get at all of my enemies? Like most people in the world, I have access to some HARD drugs... do you think I can just mail shit around in poor stealth to set up whoever I please?
This is a serious question. I'm interested in this TECS and would like to understand it better as you seem pretty up to date on what this is.

This is not my world... I'm trying to understand better this system you are explaining, however, you seem more fulfilled with passive aggressiveness than factual debate/insight.
You came to this board presenting a safety issue. I want to understand it better to gain knowledge and to see where the line in the sand is truly drawn with LE.
Edit: to be more specific, I do not doubt you in this database. I'm questioning if you have knowledge of HOW and WHEN they would utilize this database and in what capacity.

While I do not believe that "LE" as in your local police department keep track of this stuff, I would be inclined to believe that the FBI do have access to this.
It would likely NEVER be accessed for LE purposes unless there is a legit FBI presence needed. In other words unless you are sourcing, MESO won't be bothered.
And since anyone can mail anyone anything, much more would be needed than my address being "logged."
I genuinely want to speak to Brewdog more as he may have professional experience playing for the other "team" so to say. Hope he comes back without that chip on his shoulder.

damn whats with all the hostility @Brewdog. were all trying to figure out the same issues, and unless you personally work with the TECs system we are all making assumptions of how we think it works. I read a few pages of the actually release about TECS and from what i gathered i truly dont think it is designed to track postal customs. Im assuming as well, but everything points to it being aimed at individuals entering illegally or drug running. @Sdryx is saying that while they could technically flag your address it highly seems unlikely that you'll be on the radar considering there has been no legal proceeding actually tying you to the package. customs does not have the infrastructure to be able to pull this kind of monitoring off for such little offenses like personal use in our case. even if we are technically in a system the amount of manpower they would need to physically inspect every package that is sent to, im assuming hundreds of thousands of offenders, just isn't realistic. Again we are all drawing our own conclusions to something which none of us really understand.
