Supplements and Steroids

What benefits do you get from taking supps like BCAAs, Creatine, Beta-alanine, etc. on cycle? I believe protein is necessary, but is all the other stuff really worth it to take on cycle? Do certain steroids coincide/ with supplements possibly enhancing effectiveness? say maybe Dbol and Creatine, Nitrogen retention.

Protein for sure. I use to use creatine but never noticed much other than an upset stomach. In general supps are used to take money out of your wallet and put it in someone elses. Steroids are real and will deliver as promised.

Agreed the supplement industry is a
sham, I just wonder if certain Supps
will benefit in conjunction with steroids. BCAAs working better with enhanced protein synthesis, and as I said before creatine with nitrogen retention.

Creatine is the most imidiate source of energy in your muscle. I'm not saying it's a game changer but I do see a difference in pump and a little water retention when I take it.

I like creatine. The rest of them don't really do shit for me.

I agree Creatine is the only one I've gotten results off of, bcaas idk if it was legit but I did notice a slight capacity to my training, I got that tingly feeling taking betalanine which.i didn't like.

Bcaas honestly I think are kind of a scam.
Like if you eat complete proteins then why do you need bcaas?

For me, its protein to gain lean weight, and creatine to gain strength. Easily put 15-20% on my maxes with creatine. Its the safest and most researched PED there is.

Amino acids and complex branched chained hoolamaloolies and PWOs and snake oil ... maybe you will get some effect from that, but my experience is that in the legal world, you get most bang for your bucks eating protein and snorting creatine.

I don't consider protein powder in the same class as those others, it's more a food supplement than anything. As far as other supplements to build muscle I use steroids, so I feel like that pretty well covers it. The supplement industry is mostly a scam in my opinion.

I do take some heart health stuff though because they're cheap and heart health is something I like to stay on top of.

I'd say that a full 95% of supplements are complete snake oil. Creatine and protein powder are the only two exceptions that I can think of.

The most proven "supplements" are food and exercise.

I absolutely agree with you bro. When I hear about supplements, I dont think about whey are vitamins etc. I mean that fake bulllshit with the fancy labels that has IFBB pro pics on the label etc....giving out false hope & promises and dont do shit...test boosters is the one i find the most comical...

That and "liver protectors." Test boosters simply milk money from the gullible; liver bullshit can actually be downright dangerous because people take absurd doses of orals thinking that milk thistle or N2Guard will prevent their liver from turning to mush.

The only proven liver protectant is water.

Yeah, this friend of mine that I train asked me about test boosters awhile back. Some people he worked with had him convinced they worked.

I worked at a GNC for a few months when I was a teenager. It's shameful the way they push garbage there. They hire a lot of guys on gear, too. I guess to make it seem like the junk works.

Yes I think test boosters are absolutely ridiculous $80 for horny goat weed placebo backed by one study done on rats somewhere near India

I believe Milkthistle doesn't protect the liver but it does help detox it which does benefit somewhat. I also believe fish oil should be taken to balance out cholesterol levels.

Whey Protein and eating right. Oh and Gear. Yup Gear. If you want real bang for your buck, gear is the way to go, don't waste your money on even pre-workouts. Drink a damn cup of coffee.
