Surprise Stress Echo Tommorow, D/C clen?

So I've been on a wait list for my stress echo and ultrasound of the heart. Originally was scheduled for May but I got a phone call today saying they had an opening tomorrow so I took it. I really want these tests for my own peace of mind and for baseline. Problem is, I'm balls deep into a cut and one of the drugs I'm on is 40 mcg clen.

Does anyone know if this will fuck with results in a meaningful way? I know clen has a 36 hour half life so there's no way I can clear it before tomorrow but I guess I could skip my morning dose to bring it's impact down a little?

I don't know, just thinking out loud. Anyone know anything about the exam and how clen might alter it? Much appreciated.

dont take clen for a stress echo. It will make the result look wildly worse than it actually is. DC now and hope it clears enough. maybe take an extra 5mg nebivolol to at least simulate a normal heart rate (however high that might be for you)

Unfortunately I don't use nebivolol (I use telmisartan and ciln for BP) so I don't have any on hand. Thanks for the tip, though. I'll get some on my next med order.

And yah, I'll definitely skip my AM dose. The nurse said no coffee in the morning so I'm guessing she'd also say no clen if she knew I took it XD

Oh yea you’re gonna walk on an incline treadmill until you can’t take it anymore and jump on the bed and they’ll try and get your valves as fast as they can definitely don’t wanna be on clen for that lol
