I am currently in the classic one bodypart per week rut. I'm on the fourth week of my second steroid cycle and even though I'm gaining 2lbs weekly, I feel as if I could benefit from swapping to this routine.
My main goal is hypertrophy. I'm currently 186lbs at 5ft 11ins, around 18% bodyfat. I eat a real 5140Kcals per day.
I'm currently working on establishing my 5RM in the core exercises. My question is whether my muscles will respond to submaximal efforts without any strategic deconditioning or deloading period following my meager routine and establishing my 5RM's??
In other words, should I either:
1) Strategically decondition before starting the program, but maintaing steroid doses?
2) Start a deloading phase utilising the 3x3 principle?
3) Start directly with the loading 5x5 phase?
My apologies if this question has been answered in other posts, but from the reading I've done over te last couple of days, maybe this hasn't been asked directly.
Thanks
