T3 and Magnesium interactions?

I've read in a few places that you're not supposed to take magnesium citrate while you're taking T3, however I can't find any EXPLANATION of why this would be an interaction, etc.

I'm just a bit concerned because i'm on a cycle of T3 right now, and I take my "Calm" (magnesium citrate) before I go to bed every night.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Take T3 at least 4hr before or 6hr after magnesium citrate: combo may decrease thyroid hormone efficacy (absorption decreased via chelation )

I see, well at least I'm taking T3 morning before breakfast and magnesium night after dinner, guess that'd be free of any interaction in that case OP can do this as well.

I heard the other day that it doesn't matter with t3 (Triiodothyronine) only with t4 (Levothyroxin), but I don't know.

A quick Google search says it interferes. One of the endos was saying it didn't matter much if it wasn't a supplement, but the mayo clinic and everything else that popped up on Google says otherwise. I wonder if something like Whey would contain enough to be troublesome?
