T3 - for lazy people or for benefits?

Does anyone take T3 long time, year round? A lot of people use it in cut cycles. But what about bulking time? Do You see any benefits from 25-50mcg in this time? What about strength and muscles loss?

This study was in healthy young men (e.g., bodybuilders). Essentially, for every 2 pounds of fat loss, there is 1 pound of muscle loss. And the length of the study, 9 weeks, is slightly less than a typical AAS cycle leading to more muscle loss.

T3 treatment began following the 3-week run-in period and continued for 63 days (9 weeks). All subjects initially received 75? g/day T3 (liothyronine sodium, Cytomel, Smith-Kline-Beecham, Philadelphia, PA) in five doses every 4 h during waking hours beginning at 0600 h.

This dose was chosen based on a previously described paradigm suggesting that this dose produced serum levels of approximately 4.6–5.4 nmol/L. The dose was reduced if a subject became symptomatic or if serum T3 levels exceeded 2 SD above the mean for the T3 assay in our laboratory (?4.6 nmol/L).

All subjects but two received dose reduction to either 62.5 or 50 ?g/day T3, in most cases due to higher than desirable levels of serum T3. The timing of dose reduction differed among subjects, with most subjects being reduced to 62.5 ?g/day after approximately 2 weeks of treatment.

Although T3 exerts major regulatory actions in both animals and humans, most clinical studies of T3 administration have been relatively short term.

The present study examined the effects of more than 2 months (63 days) of low dose T3 treatment on nitrogen balance, body composition, 24-h energy expenditure (EE), and protein turnover in seven healthy men studied at an in-patient metabolic unit. Subjects were also randomly assigned to either high or low fat diets to determine the effects of diet composition.

T3 treatment produced significant losses in both lean mass (1.5 {+/-} 0.3 kg) and fat mass (2.7 {+/-} 0.4 kg) by 6 weeks, with similar reductions in both at 9 weeks. The high fat diet somewhat attenuated the loss of body fat. Nitrogen balance was significantly negative for the first 3 weeks of T3 treatment, but tended to return to baseline thereafter. There were no significant effects of treatment on protein turnover at 9 weeks, although there was a slight increase in leucine oxidation (P = 0.07). Despite the apparent adaptation in nitrogen balance, total 24-h EE and sleeping EE were significantly increased at 9 weeks.

We conclude that although healthy men are able to adapt to mild hyperthyroidism in terms of nitrogen balance, they exhibit significant and persistent changes in fat and fat-free mass as well as energy balance.

Year round.....I dunno I wouldn't mess with it at all unless I really had issues with keeping body fat off (some people have fucked up genetics and they can do cardio and starve themselves and see weight loss, but doing this will pretty much kill strength and muscle gains). I believe it's called metabolic syndrome. So there are really fat people who can't lose much weight through diet and exercise and maybe they could benefit from t3 or clen or albuterol, maybe even ephedrine. But I wouldn't go crazy with any of that shit. I would think running gear, controlling caloric intake, and exercise is good enough. Of course of there is some reason you need to drop weight quickly (for a weigh-in to compete at certain weight class) the stuff could come in handy.

I remember researching and finding a study where people came off thyroid medicine after being improperly diagnosed hypothyroidic and their systems bounced back fairly quick. I've also read that each time you cycle it your thyroid will never come back to where it once was.

I take t4 because hgh was turning me into a zombie. Started 100mcg a day and no further problems... I tried t3 at 50mcg instead for two days and I thought my head was going to explode. Fuck t3

Not cool fizz. Scally is very well respected and has helped alot of people on this board. There is nothing wrong with arguing with someone but that shit is over the line.:(

Well glad you've had good experiences with him. I haven't I don't appreciate being flamed because I run a protective product and an herbal PCT compliment and have successfully recommended the same to countless others... And received thanks from them both with and without bloods. I've seen countless boards understand the potential in both ppar agonists and SARMS. Yet Mr. Scally would like to flame me on that too. Sorry bro. I never draw first blood. I'll be more than happy to finish it. It's what I do.

I would love to meet your faggot ass in person so i could pop your little cat loving head like the pimple you are you little pussy

Yeah, I don't get it. This guy obviously has some anger management issues. He accused me of "coming at him" and disrespecting him because I pointed out NTBM products are garbage.

I'm starting to believe Mr. Fizz has a vested interest in NTBM. Perhaps a little investigation is in order... If he doesn't get the ban hammer first - which seems likely at this point.

Lol. Well come talk to me in 10 years when you realize sarms and ppar agonists are the truth.

Sorry but if you had a ACSM and an exercise physiology background you might take it a little personal if 2 guys randomly start questioning every post you make.
