T4/t3 sr 19

Hey guys,
Got my hands on some t4/t3 SR 19 capsules; my trainer told me to be careful with this shit.---he told me there's no real effective PCT for the thyroid. The dosage is only 4.5 mg/day and I got it from a medical source, so there's no fear of contamination. Anybody got experience with this?
Thanks

I can answer my own question; I just found some info on this. I wasn't searching the right keywords before and the lack of data became the impetus for the thread.

Apparently T4 is added to T3 to counteract some of the later's muscle "eroding" (for lack of a bettter term---"wasting" would be unfitting) consequences. Used by some Endo's in their HRT practices, the combo therapy has its detractors, but most studies hail it as a success.

Well, I'm swallowing the pill right now....we'll see.

The t3 will suppress your natural TSH on it's own, so as to prevent t4 deficiency the t4 is added in. It's effective.

I know that, but thyroxine is far more suppressive on TSH than triithyronine. Why would you want to supress your natural production more than neccessary?

It takes very little to suppress your TSH. If you're administering a product such as armour(T3+T4), chances are your TSH levels are already at or close to zero. If this is the case, I would personally recommend the dosage protocol I suggested previously. If you're trying to use these products to regulate your TSH I can't offer any suggestions.
