Test E 600mg/wk 1st Cycle

Do you train legs? I looked at all your log inputs but saw no leg data... Most important part of training!

Yes I do, I mainly post chest stuff as a benchmark since I only update a couple times a week. I'll start uploading my leg workouts, another member wanted leg pictures too, which I'm planning on doing this weekend
 
Any of you bros have experience with dextrose/maltodextrin?

I've been eating relatively high GI carbs before my workouts, and low GI carbs throughout the day. I'm thinking about adding something else in...just wondering what would be the best. Researching that and purchasing the blood test at the moment

Currently my only supps are:
  • multivitamin
  • fish oil
  • joint support
  • flax seed 2+ tbsp/day
  • creatine monohydrate 5g/day
  • Took some intraworkout I liked the first few weeks...I might start that back up
  • whey obviously
Taking tonight off - had a full day at work and I'm exhausted. I'll still get in 5 lifting days this week. Thinking shoulders/tris/abs fri, legs/back saturday, chest/tris/abs/bis - a bit of a mix up to get in what I missed tonight

Diet has been something like this:
  • morning ~7am - 2 scoops whey, 1 cup oats (50 g protein, 500 cals)
  • lunch ~12pm - mix of pb sandwich, greek yogurt, protein bar, crackers, and some kind of fruit (~1000+ cals, 50+ protein)
  • after work 5:30pm - usually chicken/cheese/tortillas, maybe oats, any kind of bread, fruit juice, pizza rolls, fruit, greek yogurt, bagel (~1000+ cals, 50+g protein)
  • lift ~7:30-9:30
  • Post lift - 2 scoops whey, 1 cups oats. Plus some kind of huge meal, beef, sausage, chicken, spaghetti, another scoop of whey and 1/2 cup oats, bagel (~1500 cals, 100g protein)
Totals have been ~3600cals, 225g protein MINIMUM

Aight got some weekly averages - cals/protein

W1: 2900/230
W2: 2900/230
W3: 2800/230
W4: 3300/240
W5: 3450/250
W6: 3850/230

Upping the calories has been the key - I figure test e doesn't kick in til wk 4-6 so I was semi conservative then - shooting for 4k cals and 250 protein at this point

About dextrose, I used it for awhile. I'm endo so I get fat quick adding that shit to my protein shakes...
 
If you really want to add quality mass eat at a 500 cal surplus. I know it is not going to get you huge fast but this is not a race quality size takes time...

I add ~30g dextrose to my post workout shake which averages around 32g whey, 23g casein proteins, 5-10g creatine, 30g dextrose = 55 protein & 30~g carbs. I get it when it's on sale and pretty damn cheap from

This is essentially how I started - TDEE is around 3K give or take a bit depending on other life factors. I wasn't really gaining how I wanted so I increased the cals

I think you should be focused on getting rid of more body fat before adding a bunch more muscle.

thanks, but too late for this man. I had this discussion several different places before starting. Basically I wanted more size before I cut - I also wanted to bulk my abs and bring up lagging body parts. Cutting is cake...

Right. I do believe the old bro-science about dextrose post workout replenishing glycogen and delivering protein to the muscles faster has been debunked and proven to not make much difference. Yet it makes my shakes taste a little better and helps with cals also. I have been eating some gummies with it post workout too. Love those things!

Problem is you cannot spot check fat brother. You will never have abs unless you're lean and you're going to lose most if not all of your size trying get lean after bulking. Believe me I did it the wrong way too.
 
I get it though bulking is more fun than losing weight. It's the main reason why most people never achieve the body they actually want. Cutting is actually a motherfucker if you're talking about truly being cut.

ok apparently I'm going to have to break this down...if you cut and don't have ab muscle you're still not going to have good visible abs. The idea is to bulk aka add muscle to abs first. Then cut, so you actually have muscle to see. Does this make sense?

You're not going to 'lose all of your size while trying to get lean"...I don't know where you're getting that...especially if you're on cycle...

You don't change fat to muscle you lose fat and add muscle.

Its very possible to cut fat and add muscle at the same time... Especially when on cycle!!! That's basic knowledge! ! @MoneyShot keep doing your thing bro!!! Good things coming !!!

@cdusgk91 - thanks man. I know I'm leaning out some at least but my weight is still increasing and I'm eating at least a 500+ cal surplus. The HCG shots are a 1ml insulin syringe, I'd take them sub q in my stomach. I'm starting to hit ab muscle on the last couple or so, and it wasn't like this when I started. Thanks for the encouragement!

I hit shoulders/tris Friday, back/bis tonight, and Sunday will be chest/tris/abs. Maybe legs later if I get to it...I've got all day. I'll upload the workouts and stats. Weight is still hovering around 240lbs. Tomorrow will be day 1 of week 8
