Test E cycle using Astro's Gear

Hi everyone,

This is my first injectible cycle and I'm using Astros test e.

running test e at 500mg/wk for 16 weeks. Using hcg at 250iu/2xwk throughout the cycle. I am also using cem mesos adex at .25 EOD.

I have ran various pH in the past and felt that it was safer and easier and better to just use injectibles. After week 6 I'll have some bloods done.

Currently on week 5 of the cycle. I haven't really noticed a difference besides the faster recovery which I always like. Decided to start the log now since I was lifting on and off because of the crazy painful pip. I was using quads and delta before and it was painful. Did glutes for my last couple shots and the following day I can't move my leg but pip is pretty much gone after 2-3 days.

Doing a modified 5x5 as I am aiming more for strength than size although some size is always nice. I did switch from a 4 day split to the 5x5 on week one , but some of my best gains came from the 5x5. Will be adding more details tomorrow but its getting late now so I'm going to sleep.

Current lifts at 180lbs:
Bench: 270
Squat: 240
Dead: 325
 
I respond a little slower on longer ester compounds usually 5 weeks like you give it another week or so .
My buddy was raving about it within 3 weeks and i didn't feel anything until 5 weeks
We where on the same stuff.
Side note never have tried ASTROS test.
 
I'd like to see your moded 5x5 if you don't mind.

friday: sqat 5x5 - front squat 3x5 - lunges 3x7

sunday: bench press 5x5 - military press 5x5 - dumbbell flyes 3x7

tuesday: deadlift 5x5 - barbell rows 5x5 - barbell curls 3x7

if you guys have input please let me know, better late than never. I started years ago with a 5x5 and after a while had to make changes to get better results. after 5x5 i started a 4 day split but felt I needed to focus on my core lifts a lot more so for the cycle this is what i am currently running.
 
Just did my workout and blew through it. Increased my dead lift by 10lbs and curls by 5lbs. I was stuck with curls, so I guess the test is kicking in. I increased my dead lifts and it also felt light. Going to increase it by another 10 next week and see what happens. Turns out on test I am completely healed after 2 days. tempting to workout every other day, but I have bad joints and don't want to over do it. Hoping to get some EQ soon and that should help even if its only for a few weeks. My appetite has increased and I am now always eating. I feel I'm not getting enough calories in so I will be using a lot of weight gainer. Hard to get in 2k calories eating clean much less 3-4k. My plan is to get blood work done at week 8 ( mid cycle ) so I can see how my estradiol is doing. So far pip is the only complaint I have.

edit: forgot in my first post that my current lifts are what I was able to do at week 4 on the 5x5. I have yet to try maxing out as I workout at home and need a spotter. At the very end of the cycle I'll get a buddy to come over and spot for me. Funny thing about him is that he is 5' 7" weights only 154lbs and can bench 470lbs. I was there when he did it and drove him to the emergency room right after. Turns out he got an hernia from pushing so hard. Guys a natural beast though. Too bad we weren't all born with genetics like that.

You're running the same cycle I ran, except I only took liquid aromasin once and am stopping at 9 weeks. Can't wait to see what's on your blood :drooling: 'cause your blood, my blood. Astro test e, too, btw.
 
Yeah, its hard to find someone just running test e for accurate blood results. I would like to have it done at a labcorp that lets the test range go beyond 1500. Btw, why are you stopping at only 9 weeks?

You're running the same cycle I ran, except I only took liquid aromasin once and am stopping at 9 weeks. Can't wait to see what's on your blood :drooling: 'cause your blood, my blood. Astro test e, too, btw.
 
Okay, so I want to be completely honest in the cycle log for anyone that reads it. So far I like Astro and his prices. His customer service is good as well. I had 3 bottles of test e that I ordered when his pump was broken containing only 7.5ml's so he is going to send me a replacement bottle of test e and I ended up buying sx nolva and clomid from him. After hearing that I could not trust sx gear he offered to send me his replacement caps. Other than that blood work will tell the rest when I get it in like 2 weeks.
 
Well, I plan to add more volume onto my workouts due to the 2 day recovery. I am only working out 3 days a week anyways. On gear I'm in there and out in 30 minutes lol!
 
Is the 240 your front squat or back squat? I ask cuz my brother has some Johnny Bravo action going he can bench 315 for 5 but can only squat 225 for 6-7 lmao!!!!!! He really neglected his legs!!!
 
Unfortunately back squat 240lbs for my 5x5. I too neglected legs for many years. Funny thing is that deadlift almost 100lbs more than squat.
 
Leg day today, Increased my back squats by 5lbs. Front squats by 10, Lunges by 5lbs. Feels like the test is starting to kick in. Definitely had more energy.
 
Seems like I am still taking to much of an ai. Will decrease the ai to .15mg every 3 days from .25 every 3 days. Feels like I am crashing my estrogen. got the ai from cem-meso maybe its a bit stronger.
 
Btw, why are you stopping at only 9 weeks?

I pretty much plateaued 4 weeks in, and weight never went up anything dramatic after that, meaning that I eventually gonna have to eat more. Stopping now to gather more money for a huge surplus in calories next cycle. Every now and then either one of my limbs go numb when I'm laying down on my bed, you know that feeling you get when your blood stops reaching your arms or legs and you can't move 'em for a couple seconds? I get it way too frequently and out of the blue. I'm thinking polycythemia. Also have experienced walking from my house to the gym, for example, the veins on my calves and lower legs gets really tight as if someone is choking my legs. Again, thinking polycythemia. The day after my last pin felt my heart beating faster than usual. Thinking blood pressure. On the positive side, this last week was crazy, strength went up like a motherfucker and I mean it, but I just wanted to put on more body weight and that ain't happening with my caloric intake: one day is way up, one day is low, is generally inconsistent not even low, just inconsistent, that's all. It ain't helping.
 
Yeah I'm donating blood next week or so avoid polycythemia. Also i 'm reliazing that I need to eat a lot more as well for the size. Eating gets quite expensive on cycle. I am looking looking to save up for my next cycle. This cycle is more for strength, but my next I want to bulk. Going to need a lot weight gainer.
 
So you're doing the basic 5x5 setup but you're not doing the progressive loading?
Are you just going max every workout?
 
Not maxing out. If I feel the weight is getting too heavy and I can't do the full set of reps with an increase in weight for the next workout, I keep the weight the same for the next workout. So, basically, I never reach failure and always end up with enough energy to do 1-2 more reps. Haven't done the 5x5 in maybe a year so I started out with a weight I knew I could handle. I found over the years that there really isn't a need to go to failure and I get stronger on a 5x5 type routine vs a 4 day split which I notice a lot of guys are doing. The routine doesn't look like much but I definitely feel it the next day,:)

Pinned left glute today. First try in and I felt the needle and some weird shocking feeling. Second time went okay. Looking forward to some crippling pip tomorrow:)
 
Okay. So chest day today. Increased bench by 10 lbs. Military press stayed the same. Dumbbell flyers were increased by 5 lbs. Really burned out from this workout.
