Test-U: did your e2 protocol change ?

Hi folks

If you’ve switched from cyp or enan to test-u for your TRT , did you end up changing your e2 protocol , whether changing AI dosage (if you run any) or changing your primo ratio (if you use primo as an AI on cruise /TRT )

(Standard disclaimer apllies, everyone’s different , get blood work etc. wondering what you did in the first few weeks /month or two before it stabilized )

Im still in the first week post initial 750 bolus
And finding this ester to be spectacular. Ordinarily I’d get very quick e2 peaks even on daily pins of standard cyp/enan/prop esters such that I can’t go more than two days (EOD) without AI. with test U I’ve gotten three days without Aromasin. Prob could have gone another day but at least first week e3d was good for me.

Thanks.

Correct me if I am wrong but I heard shorter esters are better for e2? Since test-u is such a long ester, how do you know if you need any AI?

Yes. When running TRT with prop vs enan/cyp I had less e2 issues with prop because it doesn’t accumulate.

However , these medium esters aren’t even in how they raise bloods. They spike test and then taper down. (See this pic ). And it’s that spike that causes the body to seek homeostasis and aromatize the excess testosterone

With test U, however , the release is gradual and , at least during my first week post 750 mg front load I don’t experience this giant spike , which I would get if I pinned medium esters. Instead it feels like daily pinning. Super smooth.

I aromatize heavily and I always need some form
Of AI. Even on primo. At 250 test + 600 primo my e2 is almost 90.

Symptoms of rising e2 for me are mental (more aggressive ), physical (puffy face , acne forming even if I’m a day late on AI dose ) and hunger starting to explode higher despite a boatload of GLP-1 drugs. Also libido tends to slow down.

bottom line , i am very impressed by this ester. It would be amazing if more compounds were made with it.

Cystic acne as well. Happens fairly quickly for me. But I am very sensitive to estrogen. My pre TRT , pre gear levels were in the teens
That's fine, but water retention from e2 shouldn't resolve that fast within hours. Takes longer for water to move from tissue. There is no blood work to support your concerns. I feel like this is just in your head tbh.
