Testosterone and Size

Great point. I should have expressed my thoughts in a different manner.

I have a terrible tendency to be hyperbolic as fuck when speaking on things that aren't exactly grounded in factual data that I'm aware of.
Its all good. Sometimes we, myself included get in a certain mindset.

This is a really good place . There's so much imformation and knowledge here from so many members and a lot of them compete in various aspects of the sport, whether it be bodybuilding, powerlifting, martial arts and the list goes on.

Like @BigBaldBeardGuy , I never commented in this thread but I found it interesting. I don't run near as much gear as some here do, and I'm not at their level, but I always learn something.
Some guys cruise on what I consider a cycle lol.

I also fail to see why you're more trusting of a random forum poster, than an IFBB pro -- foregoing the word of the latter, but trusting the word of the former?
Because the forum members here are mostly anonymous and have nothing to lose by being honest.

An IFBB pro using his real name is different . . .

Nobody would be honest on Meso if they were using their real names, either.

Based on the posts that @malfeasance has made, I can tell he’s pretty far above us recreational gym rats
LOL! :D Oh, I wish that were true. I look like your typical recreational gym rat. Just bigger than the natty gym rats.

I aspire to look more like a few others here. Mac11Wildcat, fodsod, killionb12, MuscleFreak . . . and several others I have left out.

And there are other large, serious bodybuilders participating here who do not post pictures for one reason or another, unless they are lying to me when corresponding (and no real reason for that, nothing to gain).

I am bottom tier, unfortunately, and probably not going to even be top of the bottom amateur tier now given my age and how late I figured most of this stuff out. I have posted pics here a few times (including that thread mentioned), so it is easy to see I am not even a good bodybuilder by amateur standards. I appreciate the kind words, but reality slaps me in the face and dictates it just isn't true. I am pretty typical for the regulars here.

2020 competition. No laughing - I am just posting it to show I did not post this thread to claim I know anything so much as to spark discussion and learn. I have a long way to go. I am in the "look's good for an old guy in his mid 50s" stage, but, personally, I would like to add 20-30 pounds to this stage weight. I am currently not in the category of person to answer the question the way I qualified it. That was intentional as I am trying to learn from those who did get there or are there.

The weaknesses in my physique are obvious, and I am focusing on improving them.

Again, though, I did not want controversy and fighting so much as just discussion and sharing of experiences.

Since I posted this topic, I hit 250 in the off season for the first time in my life. I am cruising now, foot off the gas pedal a little bit . . .

Man, you are being way too hard on yourself. I remember you from ASF, when I ran Gear Church cycles. I hope I look half that good when I reach my 50s. Just giving credit where credit is due. Your hard work shows. Keep it up.
