Testosterone and Size

Pubmed. WADA allows for up to 2mg/day urine output of nandrolone metabolites.
Daily production of testosteorne for example is around 7-20mg/day. After strenuous excersize or stimulation of testes via hcg nandrolone in those individuala s increases.

Sorry, I have to correct myself, production is up to 2 ug/day (microgram, 1000fold less).

Anybody here big but always runs low testosterone?

I am genuinely curious.

Let's qualify "big." Big enough to win open class in NPC amateur competition.

I am asking because it seems every time I see somebody posting about running low testosterone exclusively, that person is small. Any exceptions to that here on Meso?
Chris Bumstead runs 500mg of test per week year round other than contest prep for Olympia, and he's one of the greatest of all time.

I'd dare say it's almost always the giants claiming to run ultra low dosages, while the clowns who look like shit no matter what (Eric Kanevsky, Rich Piana, etc) use insane amounts of gear.

Of course it'll be "little" guys on these forums running low test bases, it's little guys running massive test bases too, as well as grams of everything under the sun. No one here is "big" by bodybuilding standards, and the guys that are the biggest really don't even look good, as they have no real separation in their muscle bellies and hardly any definition, even when they're lean AF. Just look through the pic thread.

Someone could easily make this exact thread only reword it "Does anyone here using grams of gear actually look like an IFBB pro?".

99% of this forum is comprised of bad to mediocre bodybuilding genetics or guys that don't know how to train and diet, and try to beat their bad habits/genetics with gear. Anyone who is any better off either posts here incredibly infrequently or isn't a forum member at all.

I also fail to see why you're more trusting of a random forum poster, than an IFBB pro -- foregoing the word of the latter, but trusting the word of the former?

Post a pic for us so we can see your amazing shape.

What are you even talking about? No one here is “Big” by bodybuilding standards? You realize we have actual bodybuilders here? Like plenty, sure there’s many average joes and bigger than usual gym rats and such but don’t kid yourself thinking there’s no 280-300lb monsters among us.

My point is that the vast majority on this forum don't look good, no matter what their individual dosing protocol is, so you almost always see "small" guys advocating for small or big test bases.

280 lbs @ 20% bf "big" isn't even comparable to IFBB contest ready big. And seriously, if you look through the pic thread, none of the "big" guys look good. Each individual muscle group blends together, they have big waists, and it doesn't seem to matter how lean they get. Further, bone structure and the genetic muscle belly shape we're all born with play a huge role. A guy with wide hips and narrow shoulders will never look good, regardless of gear usage or training.

If someone wants to weigh 280 lbs and look like a marshmallow, this is a great place for advice. Look at all of the asinine responses to actual science. People post studies or break downs from chemists or other PHD's, and the vast majority of responses are "Lol, that dude is small. Why should I listen to him?" which is hilariously stupid.

How many IFBB pros are posting here? The same people getting bad advice on this forum can hire a coach who trains IFBB pros, has a PHD, and knows what they're talking about.

This forum is a decent (not great) resource for newbies looking to mitigate some risk when learning, but alot of the time the more experienced old heads are the guys advocating dangerous practices, simply because they didn't know any better and they happened to get away with it.

Someone will know if they're IFBB capable after their first cycle.

If someone is smart, they're going to use this forum to judge sources, but little else. Delve into the literature, gain a sound scientific understanding of these compounds and their impact on the body, and hire a coach who works with actual pros, after taking dieting and training seriously enough to get very close to their genetic limit while remaining natty. Granted, it's a fun place to BS with others who are like-minded in some manner, but it should not be treated as a resource for much outside of source validation.

You write some long ass posts for somthing as simple as I misspoke... who said anything about 20% BodyFat? We have plenty of STAGE READY competitors, and a few high level coaches here, if that’s your main point it’s invalid.

Edit: just to add, none of these long ass paragraphs your wrote above are what you actually said, you said no one here is big by bodybuilding standards which simply isn’t true..

Lol, it takes 5 minutes to write something like that, and 45 seconds to read it.

And I didn't misspeak, I meant what I said. "Big" by actual pro bodybuilding standards is quite different from what you see in the pic thread. Please show me a single 300 lb guy who regularly contributes here and actually looks good.

Like I said, the vast majority look like shit, and you're going to see almost entirely "small" guys advocating for any dosing protocol, because that's the majority.

Go take a look at the “biggest and shredded members” post, there’s a couple big guys in there, also checkout the bodybuilding and powerlifting sections...

I think what he’s referring to is how after 14 pages this thread drifted away from the original question as it was posed.

Again, guys are well-intentioned and really want to help, but this thread is directed at probably 1% to 5% of the guys. I know for a fact I’m not at that level. I do this shit for fun. So I haven’t posted any “high test” vs “low test” cycle experiences.

Based on the posts that @malfeasance has made, I can tell he’s pretty far above us recreational gym rats. He doesn’t need my opinion or advice by any means. So I STFU and lurk to see what the guys more knowledgeable have to say. I don’t want to speak for @Live_Evil but that’s what I think he’s referring to. Don’t take offense to it. Just do the best that you can do. We’re all here to improve ourselves. Some are further along than others.

I agree but that’s not what he said, he said, and I quote “no one here is big by bodybuilding standards” than went on to say and the ones who are big look like shit basically lol.

He’s probably right to be honest. There’s cut and shredded guys and there’s massive guys but there’s not too many big bodybuilders here. Not really in this thread but I could definitely be wrong.

Go back to page one and see how @malfeasance qualified his question. How many contributors to this thread meet the criteria to chime in and respond. Not me. We mean well but we also need to know our place.

And yes, there are big bodybuilders on MESO. Just not really in this specific thread. I can rattle off a list but I don’t want to call them into the thread and bother them.

Bro you always contribute in a meaningful way. I appreciate that. And when I get hyperbolic in my delivery, you end up knowing what I'm saying, lol.

Not everyone here aspires or even wants to look like an IFBB pro. If it was this would be an IFBB forum.

We're all here for different reasons, not just to look or compete in the IFBB.

I missed this but great post. I'm a recreational gym rat as well and don't aspire to be anything more at this point in my life. In my my younger days I lifted for strength and naturally for the most part. I didn't even dabble in AAS until my forties and was already on trt.

I do enjoy the knowledge that is shared here. Its good reading even though I will never be half of what most of these guys are.

Its one of my many hobbies that I enjoy. There's other interests for me outside the gym. At this point in my life if I can make it to 80 and be healthy, I would be more than satisfied.
