The Horrors of DBOL

Milk thistle isn't really snake oil. I don't believe it really works to protect your liver while you're using orals, but it definitely helps detoxify your liver. People look at it as a shield to prevent liver damage, when it should be looked at as a cleanse. The first time I ever took milk thistle, about an hour later I pissed out this brown/orangish, dirty looking shit. I wasn't even on cycle, and I pissed out all the garbage in my liver from years of abusing it.
I have been supplementing with 450mg of Milk thistle a day now ( 3x150mg ) for well over a year. My piss is great and I feel great. About all I can say lol.

The only people that don't use their dbol all at once preworkout are those that have not taken it before.
I don't see any benefit in taking half your daily dose right before bed.

I have stated before that I had a friend that would do massive dbol only cycles before he met me. He would do dbol only for months at a time. Results were now he is on trt he was having Dick problems and he had to have gyno surgery. Im 100% positive this happened because I actually know the guy.

Point is Dbol is great despite the fact so many preach against it.
I use to use dbol in most cycles I ran. Nothing compares to it in my opinion as far as fast gains in strength other than anadrol.

I found that the gains, mostly water, don't last long after you cycle of off it, even using powerful injectables like test or tren.

It is harder on your body than any injectable I have used, but from the standpoint of a man in his 20's to early 30's I can understand your enthusiasm, but the gains are short lived.

At 56 dbol is off of the table for me, and in retrospect, over the last 25 years, I would not recommend it's use unless you compete or you want to bulk up and take a few photos.

Dbol is great if your going to go do upper body volume work but add in anything lower back related and the pumps will cripple you and make workouts centered around strength very difficult.
Squats, deads, farmer walks, bent rows etc etc
Thats why anadrol is prefered among strength athletes. If moving heavy shit is your game anadrol is your drug

Yeah two sets of dead lifts in and I'm on the ground crying.

Wouldn't it cause muscles to heal faster during sleep?
Good point here it could almost be it's own thread.
I use dbol pretty much for a crazy pump during your workout.
I think high test levels during the night will increase protein synthesis and therefor build muscle.

The way I do it is I take all 50mg 2h preworkout on lifting days, 25mg when I wake up, 25mg at dinner on rest days.

There's no point in splitting doses on workout days IMO, since the whole point of dbol is the retard strength it gives.

Yeah on my rest days I actually just do like 20-30mg in the mornings, 40-50mg PWO on lifting days.
On leg days I usually do deadlifts after my squats so I'll just either skip those or go really light weight when running dbol.

Dbol pumps are bad, but I remember doing good mornings ONCE while on 20mg superdrol.

Once. I just about cried after two sets.

Dude I can't wait to try superdrol everyone makes it sound so badass. I'm gunna kick start with SD instead this go round.

It is badass. The strength of dbol with the lean gains of tbol, but stronger. My last run with it I put 30lbs on my bench in week three and gained 10lbs of nearly-lean mass.

I've found that SD works best with high carbs.

But, and this is a big but, it's toxic as shit. Four weeks on it will turn your lipid profile inside out. Do NOT drink or take aspirin, or any other liver stressor while you're on it.

Yeah I'm super worried about it actually.
I want to run Accutane along side it but I probably won't.

I didn't find the acne from it to be too bad. It doesn't convert to estrogen, but it makes my nipples itchy as fuck for some weird reason.

It's probably the strongest overall oral steroid out there, short of metribolone, but you need to get mid-cycle bloodwork done. Its harshness cannot be overstated.

My HDL was nine last time. Nine, to give you an example.

What are you guys thoughts on only taking it on your training days instead of everyday for the first 4 weeks.... see any advantages or disadvantages to this?

I've tried it and found it doesn't do much, if anything. Even with a short acting drug like dbol, it still takes a couple of weeks of daily dosing to notice it. YMMV

Taking note

For me personally, nothing worked better than dbol. Even the stronger injectables paled in comparison to what 30-40 mg/day of dbol did for me. Within two weeks, I could always count on my compound lifts going up at least 5 lbs a week.

I've taken a lot of it over the years and, when I was much younger and reckless, often took it for months at a time, which I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone else do for obvious reasons.

Noticible side effects were mild and limited to hypoglycemia and muscle spasms - usually affecting hamstrings, triceps, obliques and occasionally traps, but easily mitigated by stretching the muscle. Many users report painful lower back pumps but that was rarely an issue for me. Neither was fluid retention or bloating.

I sympathize with the guys that want to use it by itself because I've done it myself many times - usually to break a plateau and I didn't want to do a full cycle - and it worked fine. HPTA recovery was always reletavily easy with dbol only cycles compared to injectables too.

Everyone responds differently to these drugs and my experience is unlikely to mimic yours, especially where side effects are concerned, but for me at least, dbol was always like magic beans and I loved the stuff. My 2 cents.
