Ive noticed some of you indulge in the ketogenic style dieting, whether it be TKD CKD or true keto. So this thread is basically for what your favourite keto meals are, recipes to share and information about keto. I'm not going to write everything in the first post here but I'm a numbers guy and I enjoy know if I am in keto whether it's keto sticks or a ketone meter (I have and use both when in keto).

My staple meals are my breakfast omelet
4 whole eggs 1/2cup egg whites
30-45g cheese
150g ground beef
20g salsa or 1tbsp ranch dressing
My other staple is my burrito bowl
150-300g ground beef
100g Avacado
30g cheese
1/2cup spinach
20g salsa

So whatcha got guys and gals? If you have any questions about keto too feel free to ask I've got lots of time in keto and have done a fair amount of research so maybe I can field some of not I'm sure there are some actual smart individuals at meso that can field them.

Very similar omelet to yours @RodgerThat

My favOrite meat eats are ginger, jalapeño, and lemon pepper seasoned ground turkey 8oz with a few handfuls of cheddar cheese tossed in a big bowl with a few cups spinach.

Fish fillet (I use swai) dipped in egg, and fried in olive oil until nice and crispy.

I made homemade barbecue chicken the other day.
Barbecue sauce had red and chili pepper seasoning, 4tbsp butter, Worcester sauce, onion powder, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1/3 cup water. Boiled it all up. No specific measurements, but it came down to like 4G carbs per cup, and I made about 3 cups for 8 chicken breast.

Those recipes sound awesome. This is something I'm trying to approach. I'm going to sub for future recipes.

I'm cutting hard as fuck.

My go-go lunch on non-training days is protein porridge:
1 tablespoon of unmilled flax seed
1 tablespoon of unmilled sunflower seed
(optional 1 tablespoon of pumpkin seed)
Mill.
Add 1 scoop of protein powder, I use Optimum Nutrition Gold
Add hot water, stir.

200-300kCal and keeps the hunger away for ages.

Did you type that out or did you get that info from my fitness pal, if so, how did you do it

I log all my food intake on my fitbit login account. Only use the device for it. The fact i can take the time and input foods/nutrients and edit to correct values is a godsend. Transparency for me is key! Super simple and accurate once you use values from fitness pal if needs be. Once you have "your foods" saved. You just log as you go. From app or desktop. I like it.

Have they fixed the issue with the hr on the new ones. I have been thinking about getting ine, but what the point if the hr monitor isn't accurate

Im not sure on tech problems. I use it mainly for the macro breakdown. If you set "your foods" up well it will give you hours back to your personal life if you do track you macros hardcore. Guess work gone and you literally have a report everyday of what you ate.

Well with my fitness pal it track all macros and it takes seconds to input meals and it remembers what you ate with the first thing you add, works great if you eat the same types of things together
