the only problem i had with the old meso was that you couldn't see how long a person was on meso for. there was always the login count, but that could be modified easily with the refresh button. with the new meso you can see the joined on date and determine the newbies from the vets, and the fake ids scammers use to bump themselves.

but then again....

you can't see the email addys with this new version. i remember a couple of days ago, before this changed, there was a fake proline and the only way to tell was by the email addy. it would be wise to make a new classified section where we can see the user's email addy instantly.

It would certainly help to know some of the things that you can find out at other boards. I think this place is on the right track, and we should give them credit for being active in its care; however, let's not allow them to get rid of the classifieds either.

Ditch the classifieds, it brings unneccessary heat to the board, as well as serving as a playground for scammers. This new board set up is a big improvement by the way.

On the bottom of the persons post where it says Profile, PM, Search, Buddy....If an email is supplied there will also be an email tab between PM and Search.
Click that and the email address pops up. I know it isn't as easy to just hover the mouse over the persons name, but it works.

Why does it make it any safer if someone has a Hushmail or Cyber-Rights account anyway? I mean you could set one of those up just as fast as a Hotmail account.

hushmail and cyber-rights are encrypted. hacker websites even teach you how to crack open and read a person's email from hotmail or yahoo. i could teach you how if you want
