Throwing out DNP.

I have some DNP pills left over that I’d like to throw out/dispose of.

Can anyone recommend a safe way to do this? Can I just throw it in the garbage? Isn’t it explosive?

Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question. Just want to be sure I don’t hurt any person or pet.

But yeah, just throw them anyway. Or get one of those prescription disposal bags from your pharmacy if you are asking because you are environmentally conscious.
