Random thought .. does anyone actually know what vial manufacturers use to tint the vials dark brown? Was wondering if whatever it is has the potential to dissolve in the presence of solvent. I figure someone here has to know.

There's a ton of shit that leaches from vial glass into compounds. "Leechables and extractables" in packaging are one of the factors taken into consideration by pharma(+FDA) and not UGL. It's become more of an issue since the rise of peptide based drugs. They're very susceptible to being damaged by these contaminants, but it's always been an issue with any injectable, whether or not a solvent is present.

Newer generation vials have special quartz like coatings to prevent this from happening.

What sealed sterile vials are the best in your opinion? I like those ALK ones, the ultraspec I dont like the stoppers too much.
