A source is only good until he isn't, and they have short life expectancies. Almost all will end their reign by walking off with your money. A few get busted. And very, very rarely, they retire and go out on good terms but those cases are so rare they're not even worth considering.

The point is, sources aren't worth defending. When they do turn scammer, you having protected them will destroy whatever reputation you've built. The source knows this, of course, but they don't care about your reputation after the fact; the only care about your reputation when you can drive business their way. Don't let them use you.

Meso isn’t a source board but sources do set up shop here. Loopholes or not they’re still here.

Lurkers and members alike pay for their services and as long as the money comes in, all these sources will stay....Unless we run them off here from attempts of scamming and wrong doing of our members!

My question is since they’re here and have been here coming and going since I’ve been here, (and before that), are we not better off vetting these sources to be held at higher standard and to meet members requests?
To somewhat figure out if they’re an even bigger risk and potentially harm someone in every way possible? Medically, financially, security, and so on?...

Meso may not be considered a source board and I get that.

I consider it a members board that sources happen to be on.

So why not make these sources better that are here by holding them accountable and keeping them accountable as we possibly can?

As long as people understands all the risks that are involved in doing this kind of business and the shadiness this line of work brings forth, then isn’t it up to them to make their own educated decision? To go along with it or not by the information that’s provided in each thread?

I think I’d rather hold a source somewhat accountable here to put out quality gear (along with other standards) instead of our members going to a paid source board where views are skewed and even more scams are possible?
