I’ve been following along for the past few days. The reality of the situation is this is MESO. It’s not your god-given right to be here. And Millard isn’t going to cater to anyone. It’s delusional to think complaints about strong language will be listened to. Start a “suggestions box” thread and see how that goes for you.
Sources are here through a loophole but they aren’t needed and since they pay nothing they are owed nothing.
I hope everyone picked up on CBS’s indication that “this is a reset”. This could be the very best source in the entire world except that doesn’t mean shit at MESO because if we collectively hold the source accountable at all times then WE are in the drivers seat. Being a popular source is even harder. If we start going gushy fanboy with stars in our eyes for the source then newbs see that, lurkers see that and fuck a duck, the whole accountability system falls apart - the source is in control and we’re all going to get hurt in the end by that.
So for all sources, there is no g2g here, even if it’s tested, even if there’s all kinds of satisfied people, even if the source does everything to make us happy little boys and girls, because it can all turn to shit if there’s an opportunity to make money and greed takes over.
The source reset isn’t an attack unless you make it one by being defensive. Sit back and read, or don’t. Learn from it. But it should be really obvious at this point there is going to be absolutely nothing anyone can do to stop this. It’s a reset so it’s going to be just as crude as the initial vetting should always be.
And in the end if all is well the source will remain here. This is how everything in life goes. Change and adaptions. Natural selection takes over. The strong survive and the weak get killed.

I sincerely disagree with the notion that a belligerent attack out of nowhere is a valuable activity. What exactly is being reset? What information is being collected and shared to enhance the goal of this forum which has been stated to be harm reduction? Because all it SEEMS to be is a good ol boys club jumping in hard to a thread they’d previously been absent from and insulting everyone who isn’t one of them or doesn’t bend a knee to some assumed level of importance bestowed by their join date.
If there are genuine intentions they need not be introduced with arbitrary attacks on members and accusations with zero evidence.
If there’s value added here, what the fuck is it? I’ve been accused by individuals who have no prior interaction with me of being a paid shill and using my training work here with Meso clients to pedal drugs with absolutely NO proof or even a visible inkling of probable cause. BBBG I agree with a fair amount of what you’ve said. The one minor issue I take and please correct me if I’m wrong—I can take criticism and am always willing to learn, is that I think sources do have a role here.
They drive site traffic. Site traffic drives visits. More visits equals more revenue and the ability to charge higher rates for advertising.
We see the same exact shit with the media today. Put out some juicy headline or generate a controversy to drive those damn clicks!
I have no idea nor am i saying that sources drive the bulk of revenue for the site. I just know for me personally I found MESO looking for a source and instead found some pretty cool people and a wealth of information to keep me learning for a decade.

No issues swept under the rug or members banned because a source made a mistake or somebody had an issue. It means there’s ZERO money changing hands other than paying customers supporting a reliable source and said source contributing FREQUENTLY AND IN LARGE AMOUNTS to a harm reduction steroid testing operation that has NEVER BENEFITTED HIM WHATSOEVER as far as testing his gear.
