Just got a quote for some concrete work we want done, roughly 970 sq ft, along with some decorative rock (6 ton), and a few other lil things. I damn near fell outta my chair here at work, fucking 14K !!! Uh.... Ya..... we will be looking elsewhere.
Our neighbor had concrete work done already, and i previously spoke to that dude, Got a quote for literally half of this one. But.... it makes me wonder why so much less?? I didn't give em that many beers while we were discussing price. LOL
Only difference is 3 ton rock with cheaper quote, not 6. And with the cheaper quote he wouldn't be raising up the AC unit, he would use the existing pad it is sitting on and pour around it.
Wife still wants another quote... got another contractor coming Wednesday.
