If you are a believer in historical evidence then all one has to do to is look back to Austrailia's gun ban of 1996. Every "honest" citizen participated in the gun buyback program, however, none of the criminals who were perpetuating violent gun crimes gave up their guns. Im going to locate the citation where I read this later, but home invasions went up a sharp 75% after that. All gun related crimes rose sharply as well. Most crims knew that their targets were now helpless and unarmed, and since most criminals are 100% opportunistic, they took advantage of the easy prey.
If you put aside the audible "accent", Oz is very much like the USA, their economy, their culture, their government and voting system. The immigration problem and forced integration of all incompatible breeds... They are suffering the repercussions of liberals imposing acceptance policies. It's been illegal say anything bad about muslims in Australia going back 10 years now. It is only since 2019 that "hate speech" is a jailable offense in the US. And now, every liberal cocksucker (offense intended) can call everyone with a dissenting opinion a racist, misogynist, fascist etc.. and once you are labelled those things at work or anywhere in public, your name gets tainted and you're fucked...
So ya, Austrailians have been affraid for over a decade to publicly speak out against anything that would get them fired/ostracized/unfriended etc, and have slowly cucked themselves in a submissive role where the mere threat of being called a racist immediately scares them into submission. The reason why I am going on and on about Australia is because, aside from driving on the other side of the road, they are alot like us... And soon the US will follow suit to the "T". Just look at history. Now look at Sweden, Italy, Spain, France... Islam has guilted those once beautiful countries into accepting extreme intolerance. If any of you have been abroad in the last year you'd know that those countries lost their identities, and it happened in less than 3 years. Look at the extreme push all of a sudden for us all respect other religions (people worshiping invisible beings lol).
