No. You send him money using one of the many options and he will send you that amount in BTC to whichever wallet you use. Minus the % fee that he charges, of course.

When I downloaded the app I wrote down a password. Any function I try on jaxx it asks for a new password? I backed the wallet up but I cannot do anything? It sure accepted my money at the coinflip ATM tonight?

That password was your recovery key. You can also set up a password to verify the transfer of funds. I’ve had money not show up so i deleted the app, downloaded it, and used the recovery key and it showed? You get a receipt from the atm? It sounds like it’s asking for a verification password, it’s hard to tell without seeing the screen. If it is and you haven’t even set one up then try going to settings and creating one and using that password. First delete and try recovery key, that would be my first move.

No login required. Think of the recovery key as your username and pass word. There’s no accounts associated with the wallet
