Imo tren no Ester is junk. Anadrol inj gives you more bang for buck than tren no Ester.

I’ve gone ~<2” above the top of my knee cap, ~2” below where quad meets the hip and everywhere in between. Always a bit to the outside. Never had a problem but you’re less likely to hit nerves on the top half.
