To PCT or To Cruise

Hey Guys,

So I'm a 36 y/o male in my 12th week of a Test C cycle (Thursday will be the last pin). This was my first cycle ever. I went from 175lbs to 202-205lbs. Admittedly I didn't eat as clean as I should've, so while my gains were impressive, I still have some work to do as far as body fat %. My cycle was:

Weeks 1-12: Test C 500mg (250 Mon / 250 Thurs)
Weeks 3-12: HCG 250ius E3D

Pre Cycle Test Levels: 286 ng/dL
Week 6 Test Levels: 3144 ng/dL

I didn't really experience much in the way of sides, except I started to get some shrinkage/acne around week 9. I found that upping the HCG a little bit fixed that, and then went back to 250ius. I'm already looking ahead to the next cycle, but I'm not sure if I should PCT between blasts and then wait (time?) before next cycle of (undetermined), or to cruise until next blast.

If I was to cruise, would 250mg Sust be correct, and for how long. If I PCT between blasts, I have Nolva/Clomid on hand, so my only question would be when to stop the HCG, and if the HCG dose goes up or down for the last two pins. Any advice would be great, and I appreciate anyone taking the time to respond. Thanks!

The answer to this question would be forever..
B&C is a misleading term, a better one would be TRT.
What's you first and last bloods look like if you have them?

Edit: answered my own question, next question, what are your symptoms of low t off cycle assuming you have any?

None that I know of. I assumed my test levels were fine pre-cycle since they were within the normal limits for my age, albeit at the lower end. I could say lack of motivation, sex drive (at times), depression (at times); however, I've had those symptoms since 2009 after ending my military service, so I couldn't definitively say it has anything to do with low t. Since this was my first cycle, I don't have a pool of "off cycle" data to go by.

I always hate when shit hits the fan at meso, cause everyone gets occupied and no one actually hangs out in the PCT forum and helps people.

I'm not the one to give you advice cause I am still young and do not TRT.

The hcg question is largely subjective but I can answer it.
Many will stop HCG the week before your pct, (be able to calculate you half lives for your gear to find out when to start exactly)

Option 1: blast hcg the last 3 weeks (in this case 4 weeks with test cyp) at a higher dose like 500-1000 a week.

Option 2: do like you have done and run it all the way threw at a lower dose but you still stop that week before pct.

Hcg is finicky, but i believe it does help you recover.

Appreciated. Thank you.

Well I can tell you right now my friend those pre cycle number are low.
Sorry to be the barer of bad news but you were not an ideal candidate to start cycling and have a positive recover threw pct.

Your normal limits are like between 200-1100. Hard to say where YOUR levels need to be at, who knows you could require 7-800 to feel "normal". Hard to say, and there is no way of knowing.

Trt is a big descision, you need to ultimately decide on what your goals are first. Do you want to get off completely and try and spike your natty levels? Or replace it with synthetic test for the rest of your life?

If you able to recover do it this is ur first cycle man this isn't a race its a Marathon
Very good point right here^

If you are able to get your natural levels back in to the normal range I would first try and do and then see a doctor about your symptoms and discuss options.

So low t runs in my family, and given the symptoms I referenced earlier, I was led to have my levels checked out. Based on the labs received at the good old VA Hospital in Detroit, normal limits for males (20-50yrs) = 132-813 ng/dL. So at 286, I didn't think anything of it. It is, after all, within what their lab considers normal. I can say that almost all of those symptoms went away since I've been on this cycle, which is what led me to start trying to figure out if TRT or PCT was the best option. In all honesty, my doc doesn't really know much about t levels I don't think. When he saw my elevated numbers from the cycle, he basically said he doesn't know much and would have to ask a peer about it.

Do I want to be on synthetic forever? Not if I don't have to be.

286 is low imo and sucks ass man I was in ur spot at one time in my life and I had to make a choice I picked blast and cruse I'm not saying that's the right answer but I think you need research and make that decision for yourself no one here should make that choice for u

Absolutely. I'm not one for allowing somebody else to make my decisions, and it certainly helps to discuss it and research it at the same time. So thanks for the replies. Most definitely appreciated.

For sure brother for me it was a hard choice seeing how I was 28 years old I made that choice shortly after joining meso I had been cycle before I found meso but so far I'm happy

Screenshot_2017-05-11-17-12-51.png dont know how accurate this is but i been researching trt. tommorow i get post bloodwork and that will help me decide..anyway the first column is median , 2nd is lower 10percentile avg and third column is top five percentile so if its accurate the second n third columns show ur typical ranges by age group..

Hey man, I'm 27 now, been cycling on and off for the last 3 years, however in the last year I've stayed on low dose test in between my blasts. I've been off other compounds for 3 months now and I'm gearing up for another decent blast for 10 weeks. I'm contemplating doing a full pct afterwards and trying to get my natural levels back as at some point I do want to have kids, the honest dilemma I'm having is that I don't want to lose a big percentage of my gains i have gotten in these last 3 years and I also don't want to feel like shit for an extended period of time. I've herd it's still highly possible to be fertile while on low dose test. What do you think? Ps I'm in recovery too brotha, coming up on 18 months next week.
