Top Government Witness in Tony Galea Case Denies Tiger Woods Received Steroids

The attorney for the top government witness in the Anthony Galea case denied that Tiger Woods received anabolic steroids or any other performance-enhancing drug from Dr. Anthony Galea. Galea was indicted on four steroid and drug related charges after his assistant Mary Anne Catalano was caught smuggling human growth hormone across the U.S.-Canadian border. Catalano’s attorney denied that Tiger Woods ever received PEDs in an email to the New York Daily News.

Rod Personius, who represents Galea’s former assistant Mary Anne Catalano, told the Daily News Monday in an email, “I tell you categorically that Tiger did NOT receive either banned or performance enhancing drugs when treating with Dr. Galea.”
