Training the wife

My wife is due in October and we are already setting plans for her training. @Ozzy619 what do you guys do with the little one while training? That is our biggest hurdle

Whats up brother man. I got the family package at the ymca and they have free daycare starting at 6 weeks of age for up to 2hrs. 63 bucks a month for my entire family.
 
Nice! That's not a bad price either. We will have two little rug rats once her new journey begins but I want to iron out all the kinks now. Hows your misses training progressing?
 
I started training my girl three months ago. I started her with full body antagonist supersets now we moved on to full upper lower 4 x a week. The first month was shell for me. Lol. We would get into a fight almost every time I trained her. She complained and complained I tried to motivate her and push her and she got mad. She's the one that follows these instagram girls and wants to workout but when we're there she would act like she doing me a favor. Finally this last month she has been really good. No complaints getting stronger loosing weight and getting definition all over. Now she understands the addiction to it.

It's hard training the women you love. Emotions can get involved and I just get frustrated with her. But like everythi.g else in my relationship we push thru and things turn out the way we want so it's wor tbh it. Plus I love watching her nice ass squat...

Yeah. It does get frustrating but it's worth it . I always wanted a woman that's into training as much as I am. I just want her to get to a point where she can train herself some days. I spend twice as much time at the gym now. Lol..I would train her first and after her I would train while she did cardio. I'm just glad the complaining stopped ,because after all that complaining I just felt drained and my workouts sucked. Lol..
 
It is the same way you train a guy they need to build that foundation. Emotionally that shit is all on her don't fall into those bad days traps we are all responsible for our own actions

My fiance wanted to get in shape and have me train her. For 5 years all she did was whine and complain with hardly any exercise being done. Once I said I give up you if you want to exercise I'll be a workout partner but I'm not going to be your personal trainer ever again. If you want to do it great do it, I'll be there but it isn't my job to be on your ass to get in shape you are responsible for your own actions. Do it or don't I don't give a shit. Now she trains out of nowhere after 5 years of bullshit melodrama. :confused:

Its going really good. I teach her the basics with good form and let her have at it. She used to follow instagram girls too but realized some shit they do is retarted and not functional at all. Shes getting into more and officially addicted.

My chick snoops on me occasionally. As long as I dont talk about past conquests Im fine. Shes always on pinterest now looking at retarted workouts. She ruined my workout today because I had to show her how to properly do bis and tris. Completely killed my pump.
 
I went on bb.com and looked at their crap cuz I had no idea what to have her do she was the same only did light weights and cardio and had my girl do this Jamie Easton (I think that's her name) workout and she surprisingly did really good on it and drop a decent amount of bf but you have to change some stuff up on it as always some of it is just retarded

I did the same thing and before i got very far i thought to my self- do i want my wife to have fantastic biceps and rear delts? I pretty much decided right on the spot that she would become a very adept at Smith machine squats ;) Shortly after she started seeing some results she agreed and squats now twice per week.

Updating this for the guys that have chicks that lift or want to lift.

Wife started out hating the gym, only doing cardio and weak. She just wanted to get skinny. Goals have officially changed! She not wants to have muscle and is following a bodybuilding routine set up by Sara Bomar. She has to go 6 days a week for 2hrs a day. 35Mins cardio 1 1/2hrs weights. She is addicted to the iron boys :)

Like I said she has her own routine, only time I help is with the primary compounds, which still need work. Heres a few examples of improvements.

Overhead tricep extension cable machine from 35lbs to 80lbs
Bicep curls from 5lbs to 20lbs per arm
Leg extension and leg curl machines 35lbs to 145lbs
Shoulder press from 10lbs to 17.5lbs
Hack squat free weight machine from 50lbs to 180lbs

Aesthetically she is definately recomping. She still has fat but its shedding around her mid section and for the first time can feel her bis and tris. Quads are popping a little as well. I will post before and after pics when she is confident and ready.

Her going to the gym has improved our relationship so much. We finally have a common passion. Our sex life has improved a ton, her libido is a lot higher. We rarely fight and she commented the other day how much loves me. We talk shit about the dumb shit we see in the gym and kick people of equipment. Its fucking awesome.

With that being said, get your woman in the gym. It does wonders.

This is awesome brother, mine is the same way. Diet, training, whole nine. It has become a positive force in our marriage.

If I only knew about this when we first got married. Its an amazing thing man, glad you know what Im talking about. I did forget to mention diet. She doesnt count calories or macros but I have her on my regimen, even have her drinking protein drinks which she hates.

This is what the Vikings described Valhalla as Ozz! They said it was a place where brave and fearless men went to to see fine Latin woman who knew their way around the iron. Back then it was swords and shields while today it has changed to the barbell and squats. Keep up the good work and keep pushing her to get better and better.
