Hey guys. Recently my girl was diagnosed with MS and it was caught at a very early stage. Switched her diet over 100% following Terry Wahls guidelines. Essentially paleo with a few more restrictions. No gluten dairy etc, nothing inflammatory. She wants to stay away from meds and shit, manage it naturally and with chiropractic. Especially since Terry Wahls reversed hers.
So far we've gotten the typical response from doctors as for lifting. Basically just body weight stuff and low intensity... Forever? I know there are bodybuilders who have MS. She doesn't have any symptoms aside from fatigued.
Looking for some input here. My thought it she can still train, just be smart. If something doesn't feel right, back off. She's not trying to compete, but she loves training like a bodybuilder. Favorite lifts are deadlifts and squats (yup I got a good girl and not a cardio bunny lol)
Of course she's also 100% natural and will stay that way but it would be good to hear from others who have experience. Please serious responses only. We're staying very optimistic but it's still a serious disease
