Treating acne from steroid use

Whenever I'm on gear, my acne flares up. Worst on back and shoulders, but the longer I'm on, the further it spreads down my arms. My face luckily never gets any.
I've been running a standard 500mg weekly total Test blast with 50mg Anadrol ED, and my acne has flared up a lot.

Whats the best recommendations to treat it? Medication, soap, other chemical treatments?

If I had more money to spare I'd probably run some Melanotan 2 again and hit the tanning beds as having darker skin made my acne look way better, but that has to wait for a while until I've got more cash to burn.

Honestly I’ve found nothing helps acne from hormonal change.

I’ve tried dawn dish soap, I’ve tried antibiotics, medicated shampoo, that acid shampoo forget the name, changing my sheets 4 times a week. Tanning bed. Nothing gets rid of it completely. You may help it a little bit with things stated above, but I have permanent dry skin on my lower back that’s annoying as fuck now from experimenting hahah.

Until I return to a normal hormone balance I had my acne for 7-9 months post PCT. I had perfect skin on my back and “ruined” it from scarring. Mine is extremely mild compared to others but controlling your E2 may help also. Check out the sticky. A lot of info there.

If you had acne during puberty it is more than likely you are genetically predisposed but lower the dosage and see if it helps.

I know that isn’t a great answer but personally nothing really got rid of it other than not being an a elevated state.

My acne from puberty was mainly on my face I think, less so everywhere else, so it's different in that aspect.

I used to take accutane to combat it years back when I started using but it's been a long time since I did. Never noticed any sides from it so I may invest in some more and give it a go again.

My back and shoulder acne clears when I’m at a steady stable dose for a while. Cruise or blast. It’s the changes that cause flare ups for me. I’m titrating up my dose this time and acne has lessened greatly

I haven't found anything to help, and I'm not about to try Accutane. I have it pop up on my biceps (?) And recently a deep cystic spot on my damn kneecap. Wtf.

I tried everything under the sun for years, nothing worked. Ran Accutane at 20mg-40mg per day until I hit the cumulative dose of 120mg per kg of body weight and that essentially cured it aside from one or two zits on my face occasionally. Well worth it. Just don't run the huge daily dose. Slow and steady. It's all about the cumulative dose.

Gotta do accutane. I had it bad like subject of a medical study bad. Accutane zapped it and it stayed gone. Did I become depressed and get planar faciaitis? Yes. But it was worth it. I was in so much pain. It was bad cystic

Only sides I got was dry lips and a stuffy nose.

Also, wayyy cheaper to get the raws and cap it yourself. But you absolutely have to cap it as soon as you get them. For whatever reason the raws will turn into a brick pretty quickly

Iv found that dawn dish soap and injecting everyday and cutting out dairy has drastically reduced mine. I also take black currant oil and codliver oil for the vit A. But as others have stated accutane is the only guaranteed solution

Yeah I always buy RAWS if I can find them over tablets purely for the price. I've got plenty of empty capsules at home so I guess I can spend some time capping it.

I haven't blasted and cruised in years, only just got back into it but I will also say accutane works. I did it with doctor supervision when I was younger, it dried my skin and gave me dry lips which stuck with me but I rarely ever have any acne and when I do it's a one off which goes away quickly.

Paula’s Choice BHA lotion. Stuff works wonders. Doesn’t completely keep it away, but it keeps it under control by about 85-90% for me. I go through about 2 bottles of it per cycle, but it is 100% worth it.

This. I was stupid enough to do the gallon of milk a day bullshit for awhile and my back acne got really bad. Whenever I would come off cycle my acne would get bad, much worse than when on cycle. It’s estrogen, estrogen is the enemy! Once I got on TRT acne became a thing of the past, as my hormonal environment is more consistent

I’m the same exact boat as you, acne on face during puberty no where else. Did accutane kinda cleared it

Running cycles rn of just 500mg of test E plus Deca, acne on shoulders, back, and later spreads to arms. Very little on face. Currently on 80mg of accutane daily under a derm supervision rn. Plus use a salysilic wash daily on shoulders & arms

I think it’s just genetic man, some dudes get fucked by hormonal acne. Pineapple4puss is right imo too. It’s annoying but I just don’t give a fuck anymore and give up on the whole clear skin while cycling

It’s an either or, big and sexy, or smaller and sexyish with little bacne

Here is what i have been doing with out usung RX.

On Accutane raws.

Two things, don’t cap. Immerse in 30 ml AMBER vial with Ora plus, refrigerate and GRIND the raws with mortar and pestle.

Grind 100 mg batches at a time to save residue loss on walls of mortar and pestle. (Original raws are sugar crystal like and don’t suspend well)

I see almost no efficacy loss over months when refrigerated and suspended. Better dose consistency than caps for me. Easier too.

I am also not seeing efficacy loss over several years when vacuum sealed with oxygen and moisture absorbers then refrigerated below 30 degrees Fahrenheit. (So that old myth is busted)

Take my anecdotal advice for what you feel it is worth.
