TRT & Libido

I just had my doctor (3rd doctor i have seen) put me on testosterone cypionate 1.5ml every two weeks and hcg twice a week. My T levels came back in the low 300s. I feel horrible some days and my fiancé (god bless her) tells me I have horrible mood swings. One day I am on top of the world and the next day I want to sleep for a week. I was reading that the cocktail my doctor put me on might kill my sex drive and my give me ED is this true? I thought this therapy was supposed to help me feel better? I am now thinking about trashing everything and just hope for the best. I love sex with my fiancé and I don't want to stop. What should I do? Oh and since i started feeling bad my workouts are bad and I even stopped wrestling and boxing. I have no drive. I used to train wrestling 9 times a week and hit the gym 5 days a week. I am 33 years old. I am also having 2nd thoughts about getting married in April. Is there hope? Is my sex life going to go in the trash after I start?

My opinion is it should be .75 ml every week at least. Every 2 weeks will kinda have you on a rollercoaster in my opinion. Your T levels will spike after a few days and then continue to fall over the next two weeks. As for ED and all of that, where the hell did you read that? Your libido should increase. I'm on TRT and increase in libido is a definite benefit of TRT. Between the Test and HCG, you might have make sure your E2 stays in check. Not to high and not too low. Other than that, I don't foresee you experiencing any ED or low libido. Only positives in those areas.

Post last complete blood work with ref ranges

What do you eat in an average day? How many calories, protein, fat, meals?

"I used to train wrestling 9 times a week and hit the gym 5 days a week."

Over training is a possibility - why so many workouts per week?

How much sleep do you get per day?

How much stress are you under at work?

I don't have my lab works but 8 months ago my T levels where at 320. My doctor put me on Clomiphene for 6 months. I went back to my doctor and got retested and my T levels came back at 397.

I eat 6 to 7 meals a day and I am on a high protein low carb diet. I also have a protein shake once or twice a day. I usually have one or twice cheat meals a week. (sushi or Chinese food) I am also in a multivitamin and L-Arginine and Glutamine.

I train a lot because I used to compete on average every 2 to 3 months. So I used to train wrestling a lot and No-gi Bjj 9 times a week and I would do 3 days of power lifting and 2 days for running and core in the gym. I have trained like that since I was in high school

I sleep around 8 to 9 hours a night.

And my job is cake.

I have not started my TRT (i have everything just sitting in my bathroom) because i was reading in some forums that it could kill my sex drive. I still wake up with morning wood. But I am scared to kill my sex drive. More so because the fiancé wants to have a baby ASAP..
Bro I hope your right about not losing my sex drive. My doctor said he only wants to put me on TRT for 6 months then start PCT with Clomiphene.

What's the use of TRT if you're going to come off? I don't understand his rational there. After you PCT, are you going back on again? My clinic makes me go off every 6 months also but right after the Post Treatment HCG and Clomid are consumed, they have me go right back on. I do question why you have doubts regarding sex drive and TRT though. Just a basic understanding of Testosterone should tell you that as long as all other areas like E2 are ok, your libido should more than likely increase not decrease. You might have to do a little more research bro.

Also, having a baby can be an issue on TRT however as long as you're also on HCG, you should be good.

I believe that is his plan. To put me on TRT for 6 months and then start me on Clomiphene for 4 months to see how my body reacts. Well my doubts about the treatment and my sex drive come from other forums I have been reading. Plus I hate hate hate putting anything in my body. I have to be on my death bed before I take any kind of medicine. I am just really freaking out about the whole thing. I have never had health problems before and now this.
Man I hope I can have a baby. That would be awesome.

I was thinking that to. So I stopped wrestling and now I only go to the gym 5 to 6 days a week and I try to relax as much as possible. But nothing… I miss wrestling so I am making plans to go back to training in a few months.

Going to the gym 5 to 6 days a week is still over training bro. Even on AAS, 6 days is a bit excessive. Why don't you drop it to 3 and see what happens.

I have been wanting to take time off the gym but I have a hard time just sitting at home. I get moody bad if I stay home and do nothing. My fiance tells me to go workout also because I can't sit still.

Wrong.

He will not necessarily be "good."

HCG is an LH analog causes the testicles to produce T, not sperm.

That's in regards to the HCG allowing his testicles to continue to function while taking testosterone. Without it they shut down.

What is YOUR AGE and what other medications are or have you taken NOW or in the PAST!!!

If your not sure what to do get some blood work done
such as TT, E-2 and LH levels.

DON NOT start "TRT" without doing this!

Jim

HCG definitely increases sperm production as does HMG.

That's one reason HCG IS USED, in addition to or as a substitute for TT, in male infertility.

I add although HCG does increase spermatogenesis that effect is nullified once TT approaches supra-physiologic levels even over the course of a few days.

This may be important for some younger mates whom are interested in having kido's, because it's a VERY COMMON REASON many BB have VERY LOW sperm counts, and are in fact INFERTILE, WHEN CYCLING AAS! I

It's also a very good reason cycling must end (no " cruising") with COMPLETE HTPA restoration followed by a "waiting period" of several weeks before another cycle is begun!

Thank you for your reply. I am 33 years old i think the only other medications I have taken was for allergies. But i stopped taking that because i was getting nose bleeds. I am also on a multivitamin and L-Arginine and Glutamine. My doctor put me on Clomiphene 50MG for 6 months. Now he wants to put me on the testosterone cypionate and HCG. My T levels 8 months ago where are 320 and now they are 397.

Dr.Jim can i use only HCG? And will HCG by its self make me feel better?
