TRT question

Any of those on TRT how often do you get your blood work done. the reason I'm asking because my doctor is just giving me the testosterone and refills and that's pretty much it. So I'm concerned that maybe I should handle it myself any help would be appreciated.

My doc runs my bloods every 6 months.

Your dr is putting your health at risk. What's your protocol? He could be over medicating you. Your E2 could be high or low. You need your RBC,psa,cholesterol, full panel. At least every 6mo. He works for you. If your concerned tell him.

I wish my doc would only draw blood every 6 months. It was every 3 months until I started self administering.

I was "out of town on business" alot waiting for levels to go back to normal after blasts.

I use to get 3mo. Tell him you can't afford leaving work early all the time and it's getting expensive.

I'm only taking 100mg per week. Yeah he didn't even mention an Ai or anything just gives me my script. at first he wanted to keep the med and me drive there to get the shots I told him I couldn't afford that much driving it's like 60 miles round trip. I'm thinking of trying to get him to do bloods at least every 6 months yeah I been concerned. but not having sides just would like to be safe rather than sorry.

He can't deny you blood work. Do you have insurance? 100mg wk may not need an ai. I don't. But some do.

Yeah I have insurance. I wasn't going to say anything because I'm in a study for my other medicine and they pull bloods every week. But I asked for a copy but it didn't have estrogen or testosterone on it.i was hoping to just watch it myself like that. Think I'm going to ask them to add it.
