TRT

Hello meso brothers,

Let say I am placed on TRT by a doc.

Would I be a candidate for TRT for life, aka would other docs prescribe me TRT assuming they have my medical history without all the initial consultation, blood work, verbal reasoning, etc? Or are there cases where a new doctor will not prescribe TRT.

Also, how do they obtain my medical history if it's a totally different doc from a different state for example? And assuming I changed health insurance as well?

Thank you!!

If you sign a release of information your new doctor can request your records from your old doctor.

Trt is for life basically....

Do you still have an active script for testosterone? That would help to show the new doc too.

Before starting with a new doc make sure to call around to find one that has trt experience before making your first appointment.

No just hypothetical question because I do intend to get on trt (assuming the doc will place me on it). Just trying to plan ahead but I appreciate your detailed response.

I will make sure to call around first, or maybe even yelp

I started trt with an online doctor out of state. When I changed providers I let the original know I found a new provider. I didn't want them to think I was trying to get my testosterone from two different providers.

More than likely you will have to have updated blood work. They would be guessing on their treatment otherwise. In my case my Estrodiol was getting high and my treatment was amended (thankfully).
