Trump Timeline ... Trumpocalypse

WASHINGTON—Muttering that he needed something more potent to get him flying again, Stephen Miller was desperately searching for his next fix Tuesday after the high of detained children began wearing off.

“You get a taste for immigrant children suffering and then you’re always chasing the dragon—now I need at least half a dozen articles about kids being abused by their captors just to get to normal,” said the president’s senior advisor, absentmindedly scratching his arm and pacing back and forth as he sought out photos of crying Mexican mothers, lice-covered infants, or anything else that could provide him with a moment of much-needed release.

“The hundreds of families still separated kept me going for a while there, and of course those reports of children being forever changed when they reconnected with their parents were some really good shit.

But it’s just not enough anymore.

I’m totally jonesing for something big, like an ICE detention center catching fire and burning everyone alive—something that can really get me off.”

At press time, a blissed-out Miller had reportedly worked up a pretty good buzz looking at videos of tortured Libyan refugees who were barred from entering the United States under President Trump’s travel ban.

President Donald Trump’s lawyers plan to send a letter to special counsel Robert Mueller later this week signaling they remain open to allowing the president to sit for an interview and be questioned about possible obstruction of justice, Rudy Giuliani said Tuesday.

“We’ll leave a little wiggle room,” Trump’s personal attorney said in an interview. “It’s not so much obstruction questions. It’s really sucker punches.”

A willingness to let the president address Mueller’s obstruction questions surrounding the firing of FBI Director James Comey marks a reversal for Giuliani from Monday, when the former New York mayor toldThe Washington Post that Trump’s lawyers had a “real reluctance about allowing any questions” on that topic.

“If he can demonstrate to us he’s got a couple questions on obstruction that he doesn’t have the answer to, that he really needs the answer to and he hasn’t made up his mind that Trump is lying, we might — we might — allow that,” Giuliani explained to POLITICO.

A STAR IS SCORNED

Donald Trump is a horrible person who nobody likes except racists and people OK with racists.

As a reminder that Donald Trump was a celebrity contributing nothing meaningful to society before he was a politician contributing nothing meaningful to society, he has a star on the Hollywood of Fame.

A testament to the public’s animosity toward Trump has been expressed on his star (which he paid $30,000 to have installed, which probably came from the Trump Foundation). Some people kick and spit on it, dogs have been allowed to relieve themselves on it, stickers have been placed on it, someone built a tiny wall around it, and it’s been spray painted, once with a Swastika (though to be fair, that may have been a supporter). Most recently, a man, described by a witness as “going to town on it,” destroyed it with a pickax. That individual has been charged, released on a $20,000 bail, and faces up to three years in prison. With charges like that you’d think he was a member of the Trump Campaign.

The city of West Hollywood decided that having a star for Trump was a bad idea and voted unanimously in a non-binding resolution to have it removed. It’s non-binding because they don’t have jurisdiction over the star. That belongs to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber released a statement that they have no plans to remove Trump’s star, and that once a star is added it’s considered a part of the “historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.” I suggest some people walk their dogs by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and show them how they feel about this.

Mark Hamill has a great idea. He suggests replacing the president with a princess. Princess Leia that is, as Carrie Fisher doesn’t have a star on the Walk of Fame. What? How can this be? This can’t be allowed to continue. She should have had a star light years ago, and having her’s replace Trump’s would be galactic justice.

As her friend and writer Paul Slansky said, she would have loved being the face of The Resistance.
