Trump Timeline ... Trumpocalypse

An Obama-era regulation that helped students who were deceived by for-profit colleges have their loans forgiven has taken hold after a federal judge ruled it be implemented immediately despite delays by the Department of Education and Secretary Betsy DeVos, CNN reports.

Why it matters: DeVos' delays of the rule will only add to the criticism she has faced in her support of for-profit colleges. The Borrower Defense rule creates a way for students to apply for loan forgiveness if they were defrauded by a college. DeVos froze regulations weeks before it was set to take hold.
