Trump Timeline ... Trumpocalypse

Sen. Bob Corker, the Republican chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, on Sunday called the White House "an adult day care center" after President Trump attacked him in a morning Twitter tirade.

Trump alleged in a trio of tweets that Corker "begged" him for his endorsement, did not receive it and decided to retire because he "didn't have the guts" to run for reelection next year.

In response, Corker (Tenn.) tweeted, "It's a shame the White House has become an adult day care center. Someone obviously missed their shift this morning."

...

One source familiar with Trump and Corker's recent conversations disputed each of the claims the president made in his tweets. Trump called Corker early last week and asked him to reconsider his decision not to seek reelection, according to this source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the private conversations. This source said the president also reaffirmed that he would have endorsed Corker had he decided to seek reelection — which, this source added, was not the first time that Trump had extended such an offer of support.

While Corker didn't address Trump's claims, a source familiar with the matter said that when Trump and Corker met in September, the president said he would endorse and campaign for Corker if he ran again. Corker's office also explicitly refuted the president's remarks later on Sunday by highlighting a newly disclosed conversation in which Trump tried to get Corker to reconsider his decision to leave the Senate after 2019.

"The president called Senator Corker on Monday afternoon and asked him to reconsider his decision not to seek reelection and reaffirmed that he would have endorsed him, as he has said many times," said Todd Womack, Corker's chief of staff.

Vice President Mike Pence left Sunday's game between the San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts after players on the field knelt during the national anthem.

Pence tweeted that he had left the game, saying that he would not "dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, our Flag, or our National Anthem."

President Trump then tweeted that he asked to Pence to leave if any players kneeled, which seemed a fairly predictable outcome since it's happened at most games this fall.

Look at this hypocritical piece of work. All in for the players right to protest but not for others to do the same or they are nazis. I for one am glad this man can no longer practice medicine. All the brains in the world without one shred of personal integrity.

All the brains in the world without one shred of personal integrity.

Sadly this also describes most college professors and teachers perfectly. I see it almost daily on campus. Even math teachers and engineering instructors incorporating their liberal political views into the lectures where it's completely irrelevant.
It's like they're trying to brainwash all the students.

WASHINGTON — Senator Bob Corker, the Republican chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, charged in an interview on Sunday that President Trump was treating his office like “a reality show,” with reckless threats toward other countries that could set the nation “on the path to World War III.”

In an extraordinary rebuke of a president of his own party, Mr. Corker said he was alarmed about a president who acts “like he’s doing ‘The Apprentice’ or something.”

“He concerns me,” Mr. Corker added. “He would have to concern anyone who cares about our nation.”

...

Mr. Trump poses such an acute risk, the senator said, that a coterie of senior administration officials must protect him from his own instincts. “I know for a fact that every single day at the White House, it’s a situation of trying to contain him,” Mr. Corker said in a telephone interview.

if corker thinks Trump is reckless, a cause for concern, poses a risk, unpredictable ect . i think our enemies would fear Trump even more.
