0.9% benzyl alcohol added to good old distilled water and filtered thru a 0.2 micron sterile filter will give you what you want.

I just bought some years ago a bottle of pure benzyl alcohol (chem supplies).I mix it every couple of months with 100ml medical grade saline water for injections. For that I just add 0.9 ml benzyl alcohol to the water (correctly you would remove 0.9 ml of water and than add 0.9 ml of alcohol to it)
No need for filtration or anything, since the water is already sterile and there's nothing growing in pure benzyl alcohol.

I never had an infection with it.

How long do you use that for. I think pharma says once punctured bac water is good for 30 days. Probably over cautious but not sure how long you'd want to use the same bottle?

Curious if you're in the states where you get your sterile water.

What you want is water for injection (WFI) not sterile water. Add 1% BA to it and then filter .22um or .2um into sterile vials. Not .45 mentioned by the other poster. If you're in the us it should be relatively easy to get.

Sterile water contains pyrogens which cannot be filtered out.

I use it for some months. Sometimes 2, sometimes 5. No hard cutoff date. After a while the self healing injection port is quite damaged, then I'll trash it with the 70ml+ water left.

I also don't store the water in the fridge.

I'm not sure if there is any meaningful degradation happening, since
BAC water burns (for me) taken intranasally and even after 5 months it's still burning. In the worst case I'll have just sterile saline water left.

I'm from Germany, I just buy water for injections at an online pharmacy.

I use distilled H2O, 1% BA .45 filter and make enough to last me a few years at a time. Been working well for me for at least 20 years.

To add on, if you can't get WFI, you can seek out pyrogen free sterile water. Also available in the US.

Im assuming you're injecting the 0.9% benzyl alcohol straight into the WFI bag?

you're not homebrewing steroids

once the vial is punctured bac water good for 30 days

have to work with smaller 10ml at a time assuming you're not using 100ml in 30 days or it will allow for bacterial growth
First there will be no bacterial growth if u have sterile work environment for example with a laminar flow hood. Would be crazy if some steroid user is able to start new life from nothing. Also there is nothing magical happening if a vial is punctured, there not a countdown starting to run because some metal pierced through rubber.

Also how can bacteria grow in the water (in WIF not tap water), there are no resources to grow in. Bacteria can not build their proteins, cell membranes etc just from H2O, O2 and NaCL (let's assume the benzyl alcohol degraded fully and doesn't inhibit growth anymore).

I don't know where the 30 day rule comes from, but it's definitely bullshit.

It's a different topic for reconstituted peptides with mannitol as a filler, but also there if no contamination occurs nothing can start to growth.

I knew there were some 'germs' that thrive perfectly well in a much higher Vol. Environment.... Looked it up:
E. Coli & Bacillus cereus

E.Coli pretty common, so there are probably many more.
But then there are those super-bacteria, can't remember what they are called - but they are just nuts in what they are capable of surviving....

How they then devide, idk? but lov Vol. alcohol is not a problem for them...

if you're working in a gmp workplace forget what i said, from your messages i dont assume that.

say that to guidelines everywhere and phifzers label or the many studies. atleast do 5 minute research so you dont end up giving yourself an infection is all im trying to help you with or other people thats reading your message that wanna make cheap bac water.

make 10ml vials instead of 100ml if you're not using it within a month or two

the main point he dosent get is puncturing your vial introduces contaimanation and other germs. the bac dosent kill it but can hold it back for 30 days before the big pharma studies showed low level risk of infection and other issues. its 101 basic and super cheap just throw it out after 30 days
