It's not reusing that's an issue. It's sharing. But I would not recommend reusing. The dull fast

I'm not 100% sure on this but I believe injecting dried blood cells back into your system can cause blood borne infection's. I'll have to ask the misses tomorrow about that.

Yeah, that would be my concern, not to mention that the needle isn't steril the second and third time.

I used to always keep a pack of matches handy cause when the needle dulled to the point where I needed a hammer to break the skin I woukd just gently re sharpen it on the strike strip

Pins are extremely cheap and relatively easy to obtain, I do not even use the same draw needle twice much less the one I pin myself with, but hey to each their own.....
