Once customs catches something illegal going to a particular address, after that every package (international not domestic) going to that particular address gets scrutinized, not necessarily opened but at a minimum x-rayed, remember that all packages get scanned or the postal code is typed into the system and they can see that something illegal has been caught going to a particular address, once something illegal is seized it gets noted in the system....for example all my packages prior to the seizure at my previous address scanned through customs within a 2-10 minutes irrespective of the speed of the shipping method used, but after the seizure it takes hours sometimes a day to see it scanned through (and I'm talking about just regular packages)....I've lost 4 addresses to seizures and believe me i've tried ordering gear to from multiple sources to those addresses with no luck........That's why sometimes you'll hear a source say they will reship a package but then ask you to provide a "clean" address to ship it to...
I'd don't know how it is in the U.S or Europe i'm just speaking from my experiences in Canada over the years....Now if someone from Canada has had a different experience i.e has had a successful delivery of gear to an address that has previously had a seizure I'd love to hear about it....
