Two Scripts, One Patient: Or, Do My Eyes Become Larger Than My Stomach?

I am a TRT patient in a state where it and the adjacent state have prescription drug monitoring programs. Through some miscommunication (no artiface on my part), I have prescriptions from both my PCP and specialist for testosterone cypionate. One is on file at the local pharmacy, the other is on paper.

It ocurred to me that I could bring this printed prescription over state lines and fill it. My rudimentary research suggests that there does not exist an interstate PDMP, leading me to think I could stockpile pharmaceutical grade testosterone for personal use at double my current rate without raising any alarms from my doctors or LE. Not providing insurance information at the second pharmacy goes without saying.

It seems too easy. Thus I need someone to explain to me the folly of this plan of mine, and why I am better off abandoning it. Thank you in advance.

There is a national system called DOPPLE who keep track of doctor shopping. Its a felony in my state.

Your post is among the top hits on Google for "DOPPLE," so I believe you are mistaken. Any PDMPs that I have found exist only at the state level, and I have found no indication this data is fed to any national agency.

Each state is responsible for its own database. It is illegal nation wide to doctor shop and is on the felony level. Going across state lines makes it a federal case and guess what??? Pharmacies do share information in 43 states right now. My wife is a Pharmacist, but by all means be a fucking retard, commit a federal felony and see where that gets you. I can't tell if your more foolish or ignorant. If you are that concerned about gear, buy up but for Christ sakes don't leave a beautiful paper trail. Testosterone is a schedule 3 controlled substance and you will show your I.D. and the pharmacy reports EVERY product with a registered CDN number to the DEA. My wife's pharmacy catches heat when they dispense a certain amount of pain meds within a certain period of time. But good luck bud. I'm just trying to help you out but it sounds like you have your mind made up. You can't save people from stupid.

EBK, you are very kind to write out this post. This post offered an explanation. The previous two offered nothing but something you appeared to have made up. I do not understand why you became so insulted or how you have concluded that you are the only thing stopping me from incarceration, but no insult was intended and I believe the OP made clear I was seeking an explanation for why this idea would fail more than encouragement. The program you mentioned is DOPL, so that is why I did not get any results from a search for DOPPLE aside from your post. I never claimed you made up anything, only that it appeared so.

Yes, I did half-know the answer to my own question, which is why I sought clarification. I did see you were trying to help, which is why I thanked you when you ultimately provided me with information that was presented in a manner that answered my question. If you regard being challenged as an affront, then you misinterpreted my intent entirely.

You seem very intelligent, at least with words, I figured a little common sense would have told you that doctor shopping is much too risky as it is all clearly documented. In reality I was trying to provide what little knowledge I know from the wife's business. I have only been told about DOPL and never knew how
to spell it. So sorry about the spelling error.

And by the way, I am a little nuts so don't take offense to it. And in no way did I ever take a "challenge" as an affront. You were only challenging my patience as I was trying to explain why I believed the double script to me a bad idea. You seemed to not want to accept that you may have to wipe your ass with the second script.

And as a side note, I am Tren deep and want to walk through walls and crack skulls so if I fly off the handle don't pay no mind its just EBK being a fucking dick again.

ajntorinj Thanks for posting your question. I was in the same situation last month and didn’t act on the double script. The thought did cross my mind several times but ultimately got additional gear elsewhere. ebkallday, Thanks for the wakeup call, sometimes we get in a grove and forget we can get locked up for trying to improve ourselves. I never think of myself as a felon.
