I'm so glad you made this post billy. I would instantly feel less intelligent if I ever agreed with you about anything. Everytime there is a stupid theory, or a dumb idea, billyb is not far behind.
I really have never been impressed by Fedor and do not think on a good day he can keep up with the notorious B.R.O.C.K!

No one who REALLY knows the sport is impressed by Fedor. Maybe 5-6 years ago, he looked impressive in a few bouts...but AGAINST WHO!!
The only guys who ride his jock are guys who do not know the sport, guys who are casual observers who watch some youtube highlight reel, or just regurgitate information some other ball-washer spouted.

You can watch youtube and think Kimbo Slice is the F'king man but now we all see what kind of fighter he is. Where is that aggression he had in those videos?? Where are those punches he had? Where are the knockouts? I don't think I saw him throw any impressive punches in the UFC AT ALL! And yet, people still flock to Kimbo Slice. I would love to see him show that aggression in the ring but oh well.
Fedor, psssft, not impressed and I may catch shit for it but I'm just not.

I am also a big fan of Lesnar and was a fan of his when he was with the WWE and definitely think their should and will be a rematch.

What?!?! Dude, Dos Santos, Crocop, any K-1 convert, etc have better hands than Carwin. He just hits hard, but he's not as technically sound of a striker.
there is one batista has left wwe to have a go at mma. out of all the top wrestlers out there 2 day i think only curt angle and maybe jack sssssswagger as they have a good wrestling back ground.angle won an olympic gold medel with a broken frigen neck.all the rest are just entertainers.

Nogeira, CroCop, Randleman, Herring was still a stud in '02, Arona is a stud and, personally, I really like Babalu, too. He also beat Coleman right after Coleman won the Grand Prix, so.....

haha...Herring was NEVER a stud. He was a good fighter in '02 before the sport EXPLODED.
Touche' on the others I had forgotten about the cro-cop fight, that was a WAR.
IMO--Babalu, Nogeira, Randleman won't exactly go down in history as GREAT fighters. But like I said you made good points, I had forgotten about cro-cop and in my memory I had always thought Coleman was on his way down when Fedor beat him.
Also, don't you believe the fighters of today are INCREDIBLY ahead of where the fighters were 10 years ago??? I think a lot of fighters who were fantastic years ago, would be middle of the road today.

the diffrence with 10 yrs ago and now is quite simple other than the obveious better diet better supplements full time trainingetc etc is 10 yrs ago they where fighter as said in the above post now they are mixed martial artests. that is the fundemental diffrence. as said by one of the best if not the best in the game today GSP
