Holly straight up had Ronda's number last night. Ronda would try and close the distance and Holly would crack her in the jaw......over and over again. Ronda looked broken after two or three hard shots. Heck, Holly even got double under hooks, took Ronda down, and easily defended the armbar.

There needs to be a fight between Ronda and a guy in the same weight class. That would surely sell tickets and PPV spots fast.

Did you guys see Ronda's face expression after she got the first punch? It was something like "how dare you hit ME?"
I was a big fan when she started but this disrespect she has toward other fighters i dislike. In my opinion, Rousey came prepared, the heavy breaths.. ..punch in the nose and body will do that to you.
Ronda had a gameplan that Zingano had in their fight, and it finished Zingano like for her.
She needs better wrestling, needs to take down Holms, she has no business standing up with her.

It must be unimaginably exhilarating to win the UFC title, but Holly Holm isn’t letting it affect her modesty.

Speaking to TMZ Sports on Tuesday, Holm said that she may be coming from a more “humble spot” than Rousey, but that doesn’t give other people the right to criticize her following her first loss:

“Ronda’s been a very dominant champ and she’s taken the sport to new levels. This fight wouldn’t’ve happened if she hadn’t accomplished what she’s accomplished, so I have a lot of respect for her. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to give away any bit of my victory, so I’ll take it. I’ll take the win and I’ll take that I took it dominantly. That doesn’t mean that I wish any harm on her. That doesn’t mean that I wish any hate on her. I think people can be pretty brutal, and when you’re in the spot that she’s in, there are people who are just going to jump ship and I don’t ever wish for that.”

For the record, I'm not advocating men fight women, and I'm not a Floyd fan. Most of the "Ronda > Floyd" talk was generated by the UFC hype machine anyway, as a means to disparage boxing, so I was thrilled to see Holly win primarily with her boxing skills. She put on a clinic.
