Underdosed Test E??? (Bloods)

Assays with a predetermined threshold such as yours OP almost always involve IMMUNOASSAY technology .

This form of testing uses a binder agent and once the binder is saturated (the lab KNOWS the MINIMAL amount required for saturation) the result is typically reported as the MINIMAL FIXED numerical value.

The most reliable means of avoiding this problem in the future is to ensure you select an assay that involves the use of LC/MS technology.

OR better yet when in doubt CALL THE LAB!

This is a common error bc the first thing most will note when ordering essentially any lab test is the COST, and for many that's what their selection is based upon COST.
Not sure if you saw my latest bloods posted, but I got my actual test levels. And yes, I had to call the lab and speak to several people to find a test with an adequate threshold. It was frustrating, but I got the result I wanted and can rest easy for now.
